pH is prob the issue—make sure it’s slightly acidic and clones tend to have some shock when first placed in dirt. If you have the time-over 3 weeks-to get roots, just cut off 5 or more nodes of veg mama and place in water and 77-82 degrees F and change the water every 2 days make sure any stems that begin to show rot are removed immediately to avoid it spreading. It takes a long time to have a solid set of roots able to sustain vegetation, but you should have at least 50% return. Do t stress, I literally tried over 500 cuttings before I refined quicker techniques, but I can usually have roots in 7 days and fully transplanted into
happy frog by day 14 with usually close to 100% success. And any plant taking longer than 21 days to be out of the clone room or acting weird in any way is trash. Clones are too easy to make and soil, electric and time are not worth wasting on anything less than the best. It’s the only way to work when maintaining 4 different grow rooms containing dozens of ladies in every stage of the process. Actually, I pulled a clone today just because it hit day 20 w/o showing solid veg growth despite an awesome root ball and a lady on day 21 of flower because her flowers were not developing like the other 8 sisters with whom she shares a mom, tent and
TS-3000 light. I decided reclaiming the 5 gallons of FFSF and freeing up some space for her sisters to expand will make for a better harvest.
