so im ok? heh its ok man.

yeah you are seeing two different perliet.. im pretty sure the brown stuff was treated.. the last two solo cups i mix i just did the sunshine soil. ( this is my way of testing the perlite.. but sounds like i do not need it anyhow )

so i should be good for 2-3 wees in 1 gallon pot yeah?

chris.

I don't know. I didn't see the label. Ok search for it.

unfortunate it does not tell me much. LOL..

well we will find out.. :) ( guess we just pay attention to the plants needs and address them as necessary, than hoping the soil has X days of life. )

It says to begin fertilization after the second watering. Probably 2 weeks for pot

It's a fast draining professional medium designed for total nute control. You need general fertilizer. This is a big topic and is budget dependent. I use only Botanicare Pure Blend Pro grow which is likely being boycotted by many here as Scott's/ miracle Grow bought them. Same people relying on their jobs there as far as I know. It's in your state.

Anyway. That stuff is at hydro stores or online for 22 to 25 bucks a quart. I buy gallons so it is much cheaper.

But any decent nute made for a limed peat mix will work. Many use Jacks 20-20-20.

I don't know what's at Home Depot.

I think that you can just follow the directions on that kit and should get good results. Bit complicated way to do it for a vision challenged grower. ;-)

ever try roots organic ???

No. I only tried ocean forest instead of Pro mix because it is the only fresh indoor stocked soil on my little country town. It gets very expensive to drive for soil all the time from my location. And time consuming.

And I love the results. But it really needs 20-25% chunky perlite added in my room or I have transition issues. With the added drainage I love the organic base.

stuff is fire u can cut the top off the bag put your seed in there and watch it grow

Any decent potting soil will work. I prefer to tailor the drainage to my room and transplant up through veg to make the best rootball they can.

Then I can flower in a 3 gallon pot for my short ceiling height and get great quality and yield in my space.

I'm sure roots is good too though. I just never tried it.
