the main tent for veg/flower is the 2x4x5 with the COB..

the clone tent is 2x2x5 with cheap chinese LED..

yeah im not sure how tall we let it go, i know we are gonna train it with @rmoltis help, picked up some 3 gallon jugs and also a 5 gallon bucket for micros.. i need some back strap molasses.

i just got back from the hospital i pulled the muscles at L5 and S1 where i had my surgery MRI showed i was ok.. but doctor thought for sure i had a slip disk reason for MRI.
my view for hours and hours. hha.

Hey @jipp how many nodes do your tallest plants have?

Don't worry about height cause once topped will be short.

If you let them grow taller. The extra leaves and vertical growth help create food faster and grow the roots faster etc. And if your lucky you may see signs of sex soon.

Your main focus will be the lower 2 nodes.

There will be 4 growth tips total growing outwards in a cross formation. Here is a picture of the beast & beast clone manifold at that split.

As they grow out. Once long enough and strong enough to handle the pipe cleaners you will start to gently tie them down. Your doing this before the topping happens.

Allowing it to grow tall before topping also allows you to takes a solid clone off the most vigorous growing part of the plant from the topping.

Now lastly. When you do get to topping time. You will want to leave "3/4 of vertical stem left above your tallest node. This piece will stretch as your manifold grows and hold it together keeping it from splitting in the center at the main split.

At the end of flower those little nubs will be gone and stretched.

its pushing 5-6 nodes.. so we have a little time. will be sure to leave 3/4" above the node when i top. also, do i use a exato knife to cut the clones? or pinch with my fingers.

i know i can just use honey for cloning.

Nowadays I'm realizing sharp trimming scissors is best.

I've used razors too many times and sliced into new nodes or cut them off.

Pinching can rip and tear the vegetation.

So trimming scissors are ideal. They will engineer in some safety

i have regular scissors, would that do in a pinch.

if make sure to clean them

The one in the first picture.
It's bottom 3 nodes are ready for tie down they are stretching out. She looks like a good one to top above the third node.

Get them hooked and tie to the edge of the pot.

You don't want them pulled tight.
Just enough to keep them growing flat out not up.

When pulling them flag imagine where you want them pointed. So you can train them there slowly over time.

Using led and the way it focuses the majority of its light downwards.

you would benefit greatly from a nice wide even canopy. If you get some well trained gals you will be happy with your end results.

im, not sure which plant.. let me take one of each on the bucket.. will make it easier for me and others to follow.

one second.

@jipp I can never veg my gals long enough, in a big pot to really bulk up their stems and the main manifold like @rmoltis does. But I do typically train to utilize space to make sure every node gets light.

In this pic the small nodes on each side I chopped off a week ago. You don't have to train like this, it's simply another example of training.
