heh will need to be transplanted up to its second set of leafs.. surprise it can stand on its own. laughs.. one of the 3 seedlings i did not over water so healthy as hell.

chris,.
and what strain is it? sorry im always late bro lol

with the few extra plans going it might be a good time to water a few a day earlier and see for yourself how they respond.dialing in your water and feed schedule leads to larger yields. When you harvest the popcorn buds and sugar leafs make nice extract and when added to your smoke can help you achieve that couch lock feeling.

thats a good idea. i can do that with the solo cups..

As far as training is concerned.
Make sure to tie any nodes from the 3rd node down that are able to handle the pipe cleaners.

You can start the topping process once any plant is above node 5-7.

Once topped the main focus will be tying down branches and getting them to grow flat out to the pot edges.
And directing them where you want them.

should i be forcing the larger branch down too as i go?
right now its just the new branch shoot.

If your referring to the "trunk" then no. Anything above the topping point will be kept intact for the cloning games :borg:

After the plant is topped only the growth tips/branches will get tied diwn.

This training will cause the stems you tie down to thicken up and become strong over time.

So remember they start out limber when they are new. But after a few days of training they start to toughen up. Then a few nodes down you will be fighting her lol.

So take advantage of tying down any fresh shoots as soon as you are able without damaging them.

glad you mention that.. i just took them all out and bound them down further.. to point of almost snapping hah.

so they in prison again no lose chains.

glad i looked. they grew a lot since last time i did the pipe cleaners.. i guess that means every day i need to pull down on them some yeah/>

so i have noticed something. go figure eh.. i look at my plants for hours its my TV. hah.

but at first i had a hard time knowing whgat was wilting/growing new leafs.. im calling this molting, but that is what a fucking bird dose.. but whatever, eh.

anyhow, if you are stupid like me.. easy way to tell its not asking for water, but just growing new leafs ( the leafs feel the same as wilting, which makes sense. etc.. ) look at the bottom leafs if they look normal you good to go.. now i know how stupid i did not notice this before.. but when a plant wilts the whole thing goes down. hah.. so yeah that is some advice for all you brain dead folks like my self.. save you some over thinking im sure. ( ok this only helps when they are little, when they are big its easy to see ist growing new leafs )

See those nodes you have tied down above the fan leaves....you can tie those down off to the sides depending on what's above them. They don't have to be tied down to the fan leaves...just in case you didn't know. Pay attention to the nodes above and to where those need to be tied down.

Ideally you wanna tie em out to where nothing is obstructing above it

so i do notr want to bend the larger leaf? just the new one?
so when i water i guess ill bend them to the side?

You can but not necessary. You wanna train these. Slightly to the left or right of where they are now, depending on the positioning of the nodes above them.

Picture you're looking at your plant from above, you want your nodes to resemble this + or ideally this shape *

Make sense?
