the new drip pan is in.. but i can not use it to feed my plants tomorrow night. i need a ride to home depot before i can cut a hole in into my tent so i can add a spigot. so on thursday i will finish setting it up and put the net in so i can start training the branches.. the adapter for the facet works great. just need to get a slinky type hose since the sink is on the shallow side but will try it out anyhow and see. maybe get a elbow or something.. ill figure it out..

the plants are happy and healthy.

so i figure id try to clone my male #6, he is taking the cold like a champ.. hah.. this new a/c kicks ass. hah, ill toss him out side in triple digits if i still have him and see how he handles that in the future.. for all i know he could die on me from this cold.. im fucking freezing hah.. so yeah have to figure out a low enough temp so the flower tent stays cool, and i do not freeze.

so far he has the smell, with stand every noobie fuck up possible.. and now taking low light/cold dry air like a champ.. quit the stud. but i want to see what he does in triple digits.

anyhow figure id try to take some clones.. so i did my male, and the 3 other girls in the clone tent. i think i fucked up, and i was not suppose to spray the leafs.. sigh.. another fuck up.

we will see what happens.
not sure what else im suppose to do besides make sure the plugs do not dry out? or do i just keep spraying the dome?

Cool song. Your clones are looking great. Now just be patient.. I usually take off the dome after a couple days. Without a dome after chop they will wilt, but a couple days in the dome and they keep stiff. You're doing better than me my first try. I watched an old video on vcr tape and he failed to mention the dome. Got me started though. :cool:

i have to make sure to keep the root plugs wet correct?
im thinking ill need the dome the whole time.. so dry here.
how long before they usually root? also i put the small grow light off to the side more so its only getting some ambient light from it..

For sure don't let the plugs dry out. I'm afraid to keep the dome on too long because of mold or rot, but I've never tried it so idk. Two weeks if you're lucky, but I've had it take a whole month on some and they ended up alright. Hopefully it don't take that long. Some clones do better than others, and some strains are more clone friendly I think. Just wait and see I guess. It's really cool when you get your first roots. :cool: What kind of plugs you got?

Did you use clones? Its been around 2 weeks for me. Remember the purpose of the dome is to keep the humidity in. Until they have roots, the cuts "feed"through the leaves. For me that means I leave the dome til I see roots. I also have a heat pad under my clone tray. I don't water the plugs directly, i pour the water onto the tray. Around them and let them wick it up. Just a few things that's worked for this newb. Good luck brotha

my first atempt not so good. hah. its gonna be a bitch to get cl ones i think in this enviroment.. plusg were almost dried by morning. yeah half o them look like they are on the deat hbed.

i only really care about getting my male cloned..

so i took 3 more cuts ju8st now. did not spray them with water like i did last time. i have the heating pad on a timer to come on every 15 mins and go off the same.

so i need to add water to the tray and let them wick up.. i wont toss the ugly ones that probably wont service yet.

learning experience for sure...

feed and micro the plants last night.. pretty sure i have 4 females in there.. 3 big plants and one of the 2 gallons i have in there.. iv decided im just gonna let the small plants go see what happens as i do not really have the room for them anywhere else.. shrugs.

so lesson here i need more practice with clones and working with my environment. heh. i think i have the a/c at a temp i wont freeze now and the plants will be comfy too.

i figure if im cold they are too. desert rat yo!

oh the big plant is a chick i think.. this male is one of the 2 smaller i have in my tent. they are in 2g pots. the other small container #7 is a chick.. she is starting to i think grow buds sorta like a rose..at first i thought maybe new leaf set.. but i dunno.. sex part is just gonna take practice to learn.. dose not help my vision is not so good. laughs.
or do you mean the male picture ( one with nuts )alone is girly? sorry still so much to learn.

That is right. My runt/mutant/broken embryo/ backwards emerging seedling who's taproot was rootbound in its seed shell made it super slowly to health.

But with time and love eventually took the F off and turned beast.

I'm just sad I cut it down.
