I would raise the light at least another foot higher. The reason they are using up nutrients is because the light is causing it to photosynthesize, which is what you want to avoid at this stage. Good luck.

I quit using jiffy pots. I just put em in a solo cup of promix or cocoloco and put a baggie over it nowadays. Works just as good as the fancy stuff.

That's what I'm attempting now, didn't think about the baggie, I that's a great idea.
