Well I must be stupid cause I ain’t learned shit about making hash here yet, lol.
a couple basics, lots of weed, a pound or more, dry and cure, store for 6 months to over a year, when ready lay out to dry out as much as possible, than start sifting the resin from the weed, clean out contaminate and press.
work with weed/resin in a cold environment when sifting/cleaning.
success is resin that has ripened, is dry and clean! than it easy.. i’m making some temple ball style later and will post on my thread..

Its been maybe 30 hours since i pressed it.

What's your guess? Something is going on. The bump is only on one side.

No microwave
i’m guessing that the resin to contaminate ratio wasn’t high enough in heads, too much contaminate.. just my thoughts..
i think the tumbler is great to collect the keif but than you should get one large 70 screen to clean it more before pressing.
probably wouldn’t hurt to repress it longer and a little hotter, but still it is what it is.

Just not lookin in the right spot there’s threads all over on bubble - dry sift - hand pressed- hot water pressed matter a fact I think this thread does has some info in it? Lol
I was looking for more of a step by step, what’s needed & how to. Haven’t really seen much of that here. The YouTube link provided earlier was more of what I have been looking for. I’m sure more is on you tube, I just need to keep looking for something I want to try and do.

I searched around quite a bit too and I know what you mean.

Dank Dutches and that temple ball are awesome! Great job 😎

Best hash I've tried is from Nepal, black on the outside and dark brown inside, super gooey from all the oil and taste like spices. Definitely cured to perfection.

P.s. even if you dry sieve Frenchy still drops great knowledge about hash making in general.

So Gnick, question here.....If I seal up my dry sift a day or so after collecting if it's not really REALLY dry it will start to turn and smell like ammonia. That's unprocessed. I've got to create a dry atmosphere to really dry it out so I may put it away for later processing. Would maybe freezer storage help w this so I can pull back out in the future w no I'll effects ya think?
So the way your doing it and adding a bit of water to it, when your completely done rubbing etc. do you wrap it up? Or do you need to leave it in the open air awhile? I noticed the video he sealed it right up. I heard it compared to cheese somewhere maybe here. You need a bit of water to make it what it is kinda thing. Like parmesan cheese ya don't want super dry or wet but just right. I assume it doesn't turn on you cause rupturing all the heads and creating a homogeneous mass kinda protects it? Is burping required? Just curious thanks man👍

I've learned quite a bit from this thread. Stuff that I hadn't given too much consideration to.
Thank you smokadareefer and all!!!👍 Awesome thread!

Damn I think I just answered all my questions the more I thought about it. Happens a lot that way. Thank you very much just the same though 👍✌️✌️!
