If it was me I would just run them as is. Scrog makes more sense when monocropping to me. When you have mixed sizes and genetics I would just even out the canopy as best you can and run them. That's why I ended up doing with my run. Just my opinion. Really comes down to what you want to do, its your grow. They're looking good though bro!

i would (as in me ) would supercrop all the main branches half way between top and bottom... not side branches, just the single stem of each plant. and then i would put the scrog net in at the 1/2" above where i supercropped the plants at.

Ok plant were topped and have 2 coming off above there that are. So do you mean you would bend the main stem over at half of it total height from soil up?? If so that is scary with the size of the stems and it would also put quite a few side branches higher than main stem. These plants have gotten much bigger it seems than most people let them get indoors.

Mental part is certified.

How much do you think this would delay my flip date? I have cuts that I may flip in a couple weeks. My plan then is harvest and break down until a time where I feel I can handle another grow.

oh im the wrong one to get advice from! I started off with hydro, was supercropping by my second grow, and was nothing i wouldnt try by my 3rd... Ya my advice is not for the faint of heart... Its sometimes difficult, and requires constant tucking, to fill the scrog....
BUT KNOW THIS...
They may be advanced techniques, but they are advanced for a reason...
and that sole reason is
YIELD.....

It just made more sense to me when I saw we have the same run honestly. I was going to do a net too but it was just easier this way. I used tomato cages on my bigger girls but stakes would have been fine too. You'll need something to hold those big buds up!

You helped me quite a bit on my grow brotha. Your word is good with me. I was just throwing my opinion out there because we have similar grows. I think either way he went would be good. I just liked being able to access my plants without the net this run. Now if I had a top feed dtw in coco I would do a net!

I understand that and plan to try it in the future. Right now with plants these size I hope to have a nice harvest. I probably will then not be happy with what I get and wish I had did things different.

The only way I see myself monocropping is if I should keep a mother and take enough cuts from her to do a full crop. I have just probably 80 seeds to plant before my life is over hopefully and most are 1-3 seeds per strain.

I do already have problems cutting anything from a plant and tossing it out. Its Wait lets stick it in that pot !!!

I had to throw out 9 clones that were a month old because i kept mistreating them, cause they were at the bottom of the food chain when it came to importance... Actually i was just practicing my clone game...
Oh thats another one! My first clones and all my clones, are double topped clones! I top my mothers, then after about 2 weeks, i cut that whole double top, and root that... So i start out with clones that have 2 tops... That cuts 2 weeks off of my veg! I tried to take a clone that i topped , then topped again at the next node, so it had 4 tops, but i couldnt get it to root.. Lol i tried tho!!!

I have tried lots of experiments. growing in 55 degree basement,,, thats what i use clones i dont need for... I even pulled one out a cup and threw it on my leaf pile.. It didnt take either lol,,, but again i tried... I use to post all my crazy ideas but the new wore off and sometimes lol i dont think nobody really cared if the plant can live on a leaf pile :(

Thank you. I topped the cotton candy today to get it closer to canopy height. Flip either Tuesday or Wednesday all according to when I can finish getting the room ready.

I got the last of the cuts into the 6" pots, some are lagging behind . 18 cuts and 2 Parmesan Auto. I plan to flip them in 2-4 weeks. It will be a full room then.

I fully expect a jungle even though the ones going in should be much smaller. I need a bunch of cheap 1 gallon pots for the cuts to flower in. As log as he Robin Hood is still stealing from the rich and giving to the poor I'm Good :D

Dollar storesoften have net pots disguised as office trash cans and the dollar restroom trash cans make great pots after you drill some drain holes.

Most or the cheap nursery pots I found online upon closer inspection of description only held .66 gallons Go figure.
So in an Ambien haze it appears I bought some 2 gallon ones last night. It wast just under $20 shipped for 18. In my haze or haist I have no idea if I can fit them all in my space.

:D Yup:smoking:

You have to wait it out and trim as she flowers to see how she forms up during flower. Just like these fine gents said. When you do decide to flip just be on the look out for small shoots near the bottom that do not get any light. Those are the ones to pick off. AKA the Larf!

I cut 15" squares of a truck bed liner to lay on the floor under each plant my thinking is this will give the smart pots a place for water to go and allow air to the bottom as well. I reset everything and I like it.

Now they need watering and I will give them the first flowering nute mix. I am still trying to figure out which hours I want to be my dark hours. I know some say lights at night so your not heating the house up while trying to cool it too. I like lights on while I'm awake giving me more access. The flip starts Tonight !!!:party1:
