A really good way I know you plants need water is to use my thumb and nail and remove a leaf. If the stem is tough and it's not a clean break the cell walls are empty and water is needed to replenish the good snap. I also brush the soil back a little bit to see how wet it is under the first layer.

The "Unknown" could be 1 of a list of 14 I have. Its a small miracle its alive. It came up in a group of pots I had given up on where it has been lost while I was digging around for it. I knew even less then than I do now so when it got 3" with just a couple leafs I was worrying about stretching and trying leaning the stem back and forth trying to strengthen it. I flexed it to hard and it showed the stem was dying. I decided that before it got worse I would try to save it. I cut the top half off and dipped it in CloneX and stuck it in dirt and got lucky it thriving.

I lost a germinating seed today due to breaking of a grow room rule. I had not kept the clutter up where I have been working on the other part of the rook. I knocked the plant cup over (actually 2) and one seed could not be found. Maybe I was careless and blind.

Here is the addition.

they looking good, its amazing how fast the grow once they get to that size.. they like take off. laughs

hope all is well with you, just getting high here, and feeling no pain. :D

chris.

@jipp Not sure what caused it as none of the others have had a problem. One set of leafs came in super twisted so bad that they were wrapped around each other twice. I untwisted best I could but at least one broke off and the others stayed spiraled even after separating them.

I think your problem is your nitrogen. If your nitrogen is urea based, some Strains like Cindy 99 have a more difficult time with the uptake and processing of the nitrogen.

@rmoltis @BarnaGoat @iKharon I screwed up last night and didn't make sure my timer was working. so when I left the room just after midnight it was dark and the lights didn't come back on so my plants got almost 11 hours of darkness. HOW likely am I screwed?

@Tat2420 I thought that might be a possibility from a couple things I read but am not sure what to do about it.
If you run into a thread of someone growing cindy I would like to read it

I also read it could be over watering and even she likes a different PH. my water is spring water and has a PH right at 7 so my new water is adjusted to 6.5

You should be ok... it's the prolonged darkness that usually takes a few nights of 12/12 to cause flip. You prolly just made them think about fall.. my opinion, you're ok. I've done similar stuff.. most recent was changing out timers, left veg manual and let it stay dark 8 instead of 6 hours. They weren't phased, if anything, they appreciated the rest. Then they started to rage again lol.

Ph is prolly an issue.
I would try even a bit lower. Like 5.8. As for the nitrogen uptake changing out your media for a custom made soil.
One where the nitrogen is provided in some other form.
I have a friend that grows Cindy but he's outdoor only. I'll try to reach him before he goes up to the grow site for the season.

i have the inside walls up and plastic bags in place. All plants will probably be watered. cindy will get some gistilled water maybe.

Well today I was out running errands and picking some things up for the room. I am ready to mud the seems and then to paint the addition. I bought liquid nails to seal the light leaks around the door molding. I also picked up some Neem oil. All my girls are still doing good and will get water tomorrow.

I need to decide what way I want to grow these. I have plenty or room and height, so no real need to keep them short. I need to try to find out how to get the most from them indoors without space being a problem.
