Happy with the kelp bath method. The lateral root growth happened one day later.

I've noticed the solution has taken on a sheen since I added the chitosan. When I broke it down with acetic acid it looked very similar to gelatine, when diluted it still had that jellyish look to it. In regards to the pot size I feel like it was a good move. The sheer amount of liquid, 330 gallons(375 capacity) provides more thermal capacity and the roots that have filled the size of the tubs don't look restricted.

It's getting to crunch time with the new clones. Thought I'd have a good week with them in the kelp bath but they're ready to transplant. Laid out the setup just have to plumb it and put the plants in.

Can't finish that job till tomorrow, in the meantime I'm trying my hand at making my own mushroom bags using Coco as the mulch and plastic tubs with micron filters stuck on top.

Wasnt quite sure what day I flipped to flower, started mid week so they're on Day 33f. I haven't grown the Banner since that first grow in RDWC on this post. I keep saying it will be sticky af but I'm surprised by how fast the triches are spreading. They look like they were dusted by the trich fairies overnight.

The Gelato's nugs look twice as dense or maybe that's just because they smell so sweet and fruity. It's like if you gave them a squeeze juice would flow from them.

Veg room setup almost complete, the plumbing is done. Right now I'm filling it to test for leaks. If all is good I'll make up the initial solution and finish off the net pot holders tomorrow.

I don't usually prefer small things in regards to the nugs but for hell of it I'm going to keep my eye on these little buds. Might even throw some extra light onto them. Feels like they popped up out nowhere.

One day after potting them they have responded remarkably well. I still get surprised by how vigorous this plant is. Here are the left over cuttings, which look pretty average.

The next day it was like they had been in this system for a couple of days.

Feels like the flower room has hit it's stride. The Gelato and Banner nugs' are starting to look more rounded and the colas are starting to look less gappy. Going to wait a week before posting again to see how different it will look from what I've posted so far.

It's been five days since I potted the clones. On the third day I applied some triacotanol through foliar. I'll apply Chitosan through foliar but will also add it to the res next. So far the internodal length is good. Might hold off on using kelp as a foliar until next week.

Trying out a closet grow for the mother plants using the original lights I started growing with. They're terrible lights but maybe they'll at least be good enough to keep a plant vegging. The two small pots are clones I'm giving to a friend.

Just about the end of week 6 flower. It's going okay, was hoping they would have bulked up a bit more but I keep telling myself not to complain considering I'm growing with floodlights.

It's been nine days since I potted the rooted clones. I like to hit the ground running the very moment I see lateral root branching. I get the lights as close as I can and I go a one feed full nutrient solution that will last the entirety of veg. I'm only going to veg these clones for a month in total but the grow after this I plan on giving them two months.

The Gelato's are starting to look like they're finally into it. The swelling looks better and tiny amounts of purple is starting to come through. The nugs are super dense and smells like tropical fruit.

So it's been a week and a half since I potted the girls and they're going strong. A lot better than my last batch. I applied triacotanol in the first week along with chitosan in the res and foliar. At the end of the first week I gave them a kelp based foliar.

Actually the veg clones are doing better than I thought. I've never seen the main stalks bulk up as fast before on my clones.

Mospeada my hat is off to you sir. This is one of the most professionally constructed hydroponics systems these eyes have ever seen. If you happen to reside where weed is legal, I will make bold to predict that your skills in this highly specialized method of growing, will earn you well into six figures, either as a year-round producer of top-grade cannabis, or as a hydroponics consultant
