I am using a handheld digital microscope. Link is the exact one I am using. Cheap yet effective.Damn dude! Those are some close ups! : ) what are you using for the camera? Or a microscope thing that plugs into your phone?
Haha, I hear ya. Hard to keep the video steady at that magnification. Going forward I'll just upload the best frames of any videos I take.Need to see whole bud as well not just close ups
Anyone else get motion sickness looking at those shots or is it just me
That was the exact timeframe I was thinking too. Currently have it marked for harvest on 9/28 in my spreadsheet.I'd wait 7-10days it's so exciting getting to this stage, just keep checking as i'm sure you do cause i sure get antsy being so close.
Thank you for the link!I am using a handheld digital microscope. Link is the exact one I am using. Cheap yet effective.
I think you're on the right track ... maybe 2 weeks. Maybe slightly less. Your trichomes are stacked and all have mushroom heads but I'm seeing a lot of clear just like you are.Still seeing a lot of clear heads. Every time I think I see an amber head it ends up being the reflection of a nearby amber pistil. What do you all think?
I see you have tons of trichomes, very frosty buds, but can't tell their maturity without the higher magnification.Who needs microscopes? Lol

I may use a spare light hanger and hang the microscope from the ceiling. Stabilizing at least 1 axis would help tremendously.I think you're on the right track ... maybe 2 weeks. Maybe slightly less. I mounted my digital microscope on an old 35mm camera tripod. It's hard for me to hold the camera still enough for a clear shot without the stationary support.
Who needs microscopes? Lol

I was joking. I have a Dino lite I check my plants with but in this case I could literally see the color of the trichomes.I see you have tons of trichomes, very frosty buds, but can't tell their maturity without the higher magnification.
