My Mid Grade Aerogarden Grow.

I got some nice seeds from a batch i was given a couple of weeks ago. ( Mid Grades. ) This is my first Aerogarden Grow.I added 4 Airstones w/ a 30-60 gallon fish pump for more oxygen. I plan to add ( 2 ) 255 Blue and Red LED Boards on the sides of My Aerogarden for better flowering. My Babies are 1 and 1/2 weeks old now. There growing very rapidly. The Fertilizers I'm using are Piranha Fertilizer & Fish Emulsion every other day.. Im currently running a 24 hour light cycle for Veggeing. I was wondering when do I change them over to my Flowering cycle? Another question i have is how can i promote female growth as they are not Feminezed seeds? That is WAY too many plants for that reservoir. I ran two autoflowering strains in that exact setup with supplemental lighting and not only did they fight for water and nutrients, but towards the end of flowering, the rez would need to be filled up multiple times per day because they drank so much. I recommend 2 plants max in that thing or it will be a fulltime job.

A little update. Its been 3 1/2 weeks now.Got rid of the other plants and kept the nicest looking one.She did come out Female. Thanks god! Here is were im at.. Also, got my order in last night fromt attitude seeds. Got 1 Autoflowering Low Girl & 1 Feminized Blue Widow. I got another Aero in which i will be starting the Autoflowering in soon. I will be buying all fox farm Hydro Nutes & Soulibles for the Strains i got in the mail. Will open a thread when i start the grows with those strains.

kinda confused. first you said midgrade then i see beans from a breeder and then you said it's a female but that 3 1/2 week plant is not old enough or big enough that it would be showing sex and no clone has been pulled from it to force it to sex so how do you know its a female?

i'll be 100 with you bro spend $30 and make a bubble tote and buy a few more cfl's and you will be much more happy with the outcome then this aerogarden. i'm not bashing your attempt AT ALL and you can successfully grow a plant in these but unless it's for total fun and you dont care about the outcome i dont understand why anyone would use one of these over a system they can make for $30 or less that's way cheaper and has the potential to be 10x as productive.

i have one that a friend bought to grow in and now has a 3k setup and gave this to me lol. i got it to use as a seed started they have a try that you can start 76 or so beans with this thing and i thought that would be a simple way to get a shitload of beans started for breeding projects when I'm ready to give breeding a try. the only other use was going to be for the girl to have some fresh herbs in the kitchen for my dinners.

Cuba cool understood. I think alot of us were wondering if u thought u were going to get some major kill or what. I would use it as a cloner.

Ok, First off thanks for your input. Im kinda new at this so i take it all with constructive critisizum. I've been growing the mid grade ( 4 weeks now ). She sprouted her first set of 7 point leaves. Thats why i thought she was female. Am i incorrect? If not, please tell me how you know that you got a female! Please school me. the Low Girl I started last night in the Aero Garden. I pulled out my Mid Grade plant and put her in my new 2x2x4 Mylar Grow tent with a Hydro Farm Hydro kit, along with a 150watt HPS Sun System Grow light. Sorry if my pictures were misleading Here are some new pictures of my setup now.

I added an extra air pump with a 5 inch Air stone and a couple of little airstones 4 in total. Is there such thing as to much air in a hydro system?

Is that dirt your using w the aerogarden??
I dont know why u cut them others down u could have had all those right now.

I put a little bit of soil to hold the plant in place. I cut the other leaves off because they were turing yellow due to nute burn. I had fucked up. no need for dead leaves.
