Thanks for sharing your thoughts and grow on the under current system.
Just wondered on your last grow if you had any issue with the roots getting too big and blocking the pipes or if that was a non issue for you?
I am on the fence about getting one of these systems, but I am truly getting mixed input about them. Your input would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your time

yeah I had the roots grow all the way into the return line and clogged it up thank god there was a filter. Solution was to pruin the roots at the ends a few days before the flip I haven't had that problem again thank god. Honestly I am having good results on this system I would definitely recommend getting one. Some people say it's all hype and what not but I like it... The ease of use is the best part and other then the ph swings I can't bitch too much... I say go for it if you have the money to set it up properly (chiller ect.) it's bad ass and the plants go crazy in this thing. I have done rdwc too and you have a better chance of a clog in that then you do in this.
Just to be all the way with the advice part I would definitely advise that you keep it clean meaning no kelp products in the system or anything thick that would leave a film as these are hard to keep clean if you do. My ph hasn't been swinging as much but I do experience some with hg fortunately I use it to my advantage now cuz I believe it's helping my plants uptake nutes better. I like it though... Get one that's my final answer :)
