My personal opinion on UC8XL so far

Being that my plants get so bushy and there is a lot of dark spots near the bottom that give the perfect environment for powdery mildew to break out and to produce bullshit buds that will not amount to shit but little ugly fluff balls , my plants were also starting to stretch already from the overcrowding so I decided to turn my bitches in to bull dykes tonight by giving them a nice short haircut... My plants look kind of pissed but they will get over it lol my environmental control equipment is thanking me right now though the airflow feels great at the bottom again and I'm sure I will be thanking myself in the end also from not having to trim all that garbage. I would also like to thank my pockets for the lack of nutrients I'm gonna have to use for the next few days :) anyway without further delay here go the pics.

Man I'm bitter as fuck my plants started stretching hardcore again and being that this has been a problem in the last 2 grows with this bubba I decided to tackle the problem early on and started tying the stretchy tops down and I must have pulled the best top I had down a little too hard cuz that bitch just broke clean off a day right before week 3... I'm so fucking pissed right now man that's some bullshit... Pics to come later :(

Thanks bg I already did I'm gonna wait tillthe end of this week and give it a final once over again though after everything is all nice and filled in. They grow so aggressive it's hard to keep up sometimes... Anyhow thanks for the compliments bud it's appreciated bro.

I know what ya mean I could trim mine everyday for the first 3 weeks kinda a pain in the ass. I try to do it week 1 then 2 then week 3 and its done.

Man I just had the craziest shit ever happen 2 times yesterday... I just saw the other one right now... I had 2 big branches just straight up break off on their own idk if they were just too heavy for the plant or what... I just put tape on the one since there Is still some tissue connected I hope it fixes itself either that or I'm just gonna pull it off completely WTF is up with that?

u using silica? sounds like your branches could benefit from some... if you got em breaking off in veg you're going to need to do some serious cola support for flower

Excess N can make leaf tissue brittle....like opt1c's mentioned I'd consider a silica product to build stronger tissue if this continues to be a problem.

You need cages to hold those buds up a good problem to have and duct tape holds broken branches up great just wrap it around like a bandaid.

Quick update I just Did the spiderman in my whole garden with some kind of wire I have on a spool I made some ghetto cages and connected all the plants together as well as every single branch. I wanna see another branch fall off like that again now... Pieces of shit lol

Just wondered on your last grow if you had any issue with the roots getting too big and blocking the pipes or if that was a non issue for you?

I am on the fence about getting one of these systems, but I am truly getting mixed input about them. Your input would be much appreciated.
