theres really more variables than just being able to say use this temp this way and youll get honeycomb everytime...
it really varies...thats kinda where the artform in it is...knowing what to do when to get your finished work to be how u want it....
i dont vac mine into honeycomb per se...i use the vac to puff air into it and then dry it into honeycomb....(after whipping once its been filtered clean)
there are def several ways to get the desired outcome...the biggest one being your material and how fresh it is....
u aint gonna get 5 month old trim to get combed out...unless you really bake the fuck out of it or stick it in a fruit dehydrator for 20 hours or 4 days...dont got time for dat one tho...my runs take few hours start to fin..get a vo n you can do comb over night no prob every time if u got good stuff to use...
u can still use trim n get comb, gotta be fire n fresh tho!!

The purge should be done over and over puff up release to settled form with about 90-110degrees maximum keep repeating the puff up release puff up release the shrinking that occurs upon releasing the pressure will happen less and less until it stays in its ful size puffed up state even when the vac is released

I'm trying to get from shatter to honeycomb
I know I need to vacuum longer.
Do I do this with heat (how hot) until it honeycombs?
Yes... for honeycomb oil you need to apply constant vacuum pressure, & raise the temperature of the oil to roughly 125-140 degrees. Then from their maintain constant pressure, & turn the heat off, until the vacuum chamber has cooled down to room temperature again. Then there you have it, you made yourself some honeycomb hash.
