Yeah, I will definitely try the tie down method first. I have actually thought about supercropping again, and will if need be, but anything I bend over will be blocking a bunch of bud sites below. one of the byproducts of so many topping actions is there's no spot that do not have buds below struggling for light. Kinda screwed if you do and screwed later if you don't. also have had the thought of what might happen if a high stress training method like supercropping were to take place? Could photos be stressed into Herming? I definitely don't want that. I'll probably try to stay to a low stress solution if at all possible this late in the game.If you have room to tie them down that seems like it should be alright. Or you could super crop again?
I think you are right. Both my fans are low blowing up & 1 on top blowing on the light driver. I been thinking about getting a couple more fans up top. I'll order some today. You have direct air movement on the top of your canopy? It could be a touch of heat more than the light intensity. You at full blast on the light? If you have more room maybe raise the light and increase the intensity. My light is at 100% and i have a few colas about 8" from the light. A certain bud is very close but looking great. I realized it is in the path of air movement to help the heat exit the top of my tent. There is a bud that was 2" lower than that high bud that started doing that same shit, taco a bit. I redirected a different fan to blow just over the top of that bud and the taco stopped and bud goes back to normal. My taco was heat related as opposed to intensity. Maybe that helps?
I drilled small holes in the rim about the outside of the buckets and then used the standard wire used for training plants. It was an after thought though so it was kind of half assed. Once in cut the girls in there down I'm going to drill all the way around. No worries. I just felt I needed to explain that I did "train em young". I don't know how else you could get em to spread out in hydro where you can't drill holes or poke rods into the soil. ?
@brazilianfarmer thank you. I appreciate the kind words. I do think the bud colas are going to be huge in the next couple months. Can't wait.amazing pictures and delicious looking buds![]()
Congrats !
