I gain the simplicity of dank buds by using a single nutrient. Most people feed too high P in flower and cause premature yellowing etc. By keeping my fan leaves green until the end, my buds have the energy to swell and stay happy. Have you ever tried it?
No I have not tried it. Nor will I. I'm OK with the (lack of?) simplicity of using a balanced nute regimen. It really isn't hard to use more than one bottle...

What a super weird hill to plant a flag on my friend. But you do you.

For the rest of the new folks on the forum, please don't throw out your P and K just yet.

Just seen you asking for help May 2022 mid flower where you had issues 😂😂. Always the tech guru growers that swear they're it.

Can you link me your grow journals?
I don't really have any active grow journals, I'm hoping to finish my first grow this year!

J/k here is a random link for ya

@Moe.Red moe is very knowledgeable. But I do have to say. There's a million and one ways to skin a cat.

A guy by the name of Homebrewer on RIU had some posts that I came across claiming that you can use a veg nute like DynaGrow or Foliage Pro, Maxigrow etc til the end. No bloom. I thought this must be a myth, but was intrigued. Once I tried it for a single run it was like a switch flipped in my head. Every single thing everyone told me about how you need PK etc for flower was instantly questionable as I saw every single fan leaf completely green and healthy until the day I chopped by using just a single grow nutrient the whole way through. Tried the Maxibloom and Floranova KISS method, nothing came close to FP or DynaGrow.
How was the smoke?

We’re all growmies around here right? Can’t we all just grow some dank and get lit and watch our ladies grow into beautiful plants in our own way✌🏼

ABSOLUTELY

We tweak things all the time to see the result. Gases, light power, spectrum, substrates, yada yada yada.

Some of these tweaks result in positive changes. Others do not. Others seem to make a change, but results are not repeatable and that data must be thrown out.

I will say with 99% assurance (you can never know 100%) that removing P and K from the diet of blooming cannabis is a change that will cause an inferior result. Take THC level only - forget everything else - studies show it goes down with high N to harvest. Just that one, provable point alone is enough to say it's a change that takes away from, not adds to the result.

And what is the benefit again? 2 less bottles on the shelf?

Was someone stopping that? What did I miss?

Buds were more dense, and stinkier than any micro/bloom runs I've done or MaxiGro/transition into bloom. I run Ethos and Barney's Farm btw.The foliage pro just works...it's specifically formulated for cannabis throughout the whole cycle. They keep telling me the nitrogen will retard the flowering, but I see opposite. More crystals on the sugar leaves, stronger branch support etc.

Dude, you are hilarious. Nice edit BTW.

This is starting to feel more and more like a troll and not a serious debate, so I'm out.

One of the signs of an intelligent person is that he doesn't assume to know it all and asks dumb questions right alongside the newb. The only difference is that the dumb questions aren't so frequent! 😂

Moe is one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to cannabis. I would tread carefully when determining who is and isn't worthy.......

There is no such thing as a "guru" when it comes to growing weed. Just people that learned from their mistakes. I would never consider myself a guru and will always consider myself a student since there is always knowledge that can be had.

There have been others here on the farm running veg nutrients thru to end of flower with good results. Some others tried it and it works but quoting a well known member here in the farm. Running bloom nuts was just better.
It is challenging here on the farm because there are people with varying degrees of understanding of the plant and growing it. If it works for you great. Some might think something else works better for them. In the end it comes down to your personal choice or that of the people you help.
I believe one is better than the other. But I am not going to get into a conversation that cannot be drilled down to one correct answer

Lol I'll backup my claims and do a guide soon to help friends and family...not trying to claim some guru myself either but tired of seeing innocent people wasting money in equipment and nutrients they don't need.

I agree...not trying to even start a debate lol just getting some ideas out there that work for me.

I hear ya. That's all good. Just not down with punkin' people you don't know.

Can't wait for the data........

If you are tired of seeing people waste there money why are you using a nutrient brand that is mostly water? Dry salts are less than half the price of liquids and are largely the same products.

Wait you come on a site and start calling people out? But you are not trying to start a debate? I beg to differ
You're getting emotional lol get over it. I can have opinions, even if you don't like them. Why not just ignore it?

Because someone like yourself come on here about one a week and tries to act like a guru with all kinds of knowledge and they are just plain opinionated. And their accomplishments or results are without merit. Basically they are full of Kaka. So get over yourself.
