Today is day 24 and my leaves are starting to turn yellow. Any advice?
How is your drainage in those pots?Today is day 24 and my leaves are starting to turn yellow. Any advice?
How is your drainage in those pots?
And how frequently do you water and how much?
These plants look half as old as they should (not to be rude or anything![]()
My first piece of advice is not to use those pots. I like plastic nursery pots, but many growers like solo cups. That soil does look dry. Seedlings are temperamental when it comes to watering. A spray bottle can be useful to keep the top of the soil moist, or just carefully pour a little in a circle between the stem and the side of the pot. Aside from that, they look hungry. They can be fed at 24 days, but only give them 1/4 to 1/2 dose of whatever you plan to use. I sometimes use an organic kelp liquid that can be watered in.Today is day 24 and my leaves are starting to turn yellow. Any advice?

Yes this was my first time ever. Won't use these again. Usually fed at 24 days but these can't possible need nutes yet. These things are super tiny barely a 2nd leaf...My first piece of advice is not to use those pots. I like plastic nursery pots, but many growers like solo cups. That soil does look dry. I understand about the miracle grow. Was gonna switch to fox farm when they get to vegetative state. Just rolling with this because it's my first time and I am just learning.Either the watering frequency or for sure the miracle gro. I’m not being an ass that soil is not it brother. Stick me with a sharp object if you must that’s just the truth.
Soil does appear on the drier side.
Give them a bit more thenYes they are small. I dont know what I'm doing. I've got good drainage. I'm always scared to over water so I water a little every other day. They always seem dry though.
Looks good so far.......So, after reading everyone's advice I just switched over to my solo cup set up with fox farm. No more Miricale Grow. I peeled the previous pot apart making sure no roots were damaged. I know this transfer will stunt them for a few days but I feel like many of you said, this was the right move. My luck these will be male anyways and none of this will matter but I am learning something everyday. Thanks for the advice everyone.
Agreed. How long has it been since transplant?Day 27....I think they are looking better? So hard to tell.
3 daysAgreed. How long has it been since transplant?
Dude Thank you.And now you're growing.......
The clear solos in the red is the way to go.....
You can check - root development and whether it needs water/feed....I feel the weight, but you can visibly see if it's dry or not....
Keep on doing what you are, they love it!!!!
