any examples, i did a search with not much luckEpistar are about the best you'll get from China. Second rate if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, they do the job bit if I had the money I'd get me a KINDled unit...
that's true, they produce great in veg, and you really don't need many cobs.I will have to disagree. Only because you only need 10w per sqft to veg with efficient cobs. I use only 59w for a 2x4 tent for reg veg and 36w for super veg just look at the inter-nodes on the plants under the 6500k

You mean examples of KIND led grows?
i meant do you have any specs on any german leds?
Yeah but for the life of me can't find the page. They were made by geissman or something like that. Guy built a custom panel to grow the tropical plants in his aquarium. Will dig for it and post when I find it...
Cool story bro,

i'm getting grilled for fact checking? You should be singing my praises.Lol you went to that trouble to prove a point to me :) not challenging you, just asking what that was for?
Not only that, but I've got a buddy running a k3 series Kind and it's a beast. I've ordered a k5 750.. I know 3 people personally that have had great luck with them and still run them. I'm looking forward to mine. Who cares where it's made?! Seriously, you don't think cheap shit isn't made in America... have you been to a Dollar Tree?! Lmao. There's quality and shit all over. Just because 1 in 5 people might have to get diodes fixed/replaced is not enough reason to not buy one. Also, most of the LED naysayers are just jealous, old school guys that can't afford one :) just saying! Times are changing! Just wait til the 7w and 10w tech comes outLol you went to that trouble to prove a point to me :) not challenging you, just asking what that was for?

No no, I'm saying 1 in 5 regarding all leds.. by investing in Kind, BML, VIPARS.. you are way better than 1 in 5.. I just mean in general. Seen too many mars, galaxyhydro, etc all fail a lot.. I've not seen or heard of anyone complaining of Kind tho.first of all, dollar tree is full of china's crap lol. but yeah 1 in 5 kind panels have problems?thats a fuckin terrible track record like maybe as bad as mars ? if your buying a led thats only 35% efficient and costs a grand you might as well grab a lec/cmh fixture because you will be higher eff and cheaper to buy and run.
ok i thought you were suggesting kinds have a 1 in 5 rate of failure and that was good enough to take a gamble lolNo no, I'm saying 1 in 5 regarding all leds.. by investing in Kind, BML, VIPARS.. you are way better than 1 in 5.. Heck no bro.. I wouldn't have bought one if that were the case. Lolok i thought you were suggesting kinds have a 1 in 5 rate of failure and that was good enough to take a gamble lol
