yeah, see how it develops....have you changed something recently, you changed its feed/fertiliser? you changed its location?

i agree overall alot of vigour, but keep an eye on it to see if it gets better or worse. check for insects/bugs maybe.

Curling of leaves could be due to a number of factors - but again, I would expect these symptoms to be all over the plant, not just localised (but what would i know). so, curling could be signs of nitrogen toxicity, wind burn, over/under-watering, etc - but if it was such toxicity, it would appear on all of the plant already, no?

if it was heat affected, the whole plant and all its growth/leaves would show wilt - so i'm ruling that out.

this curling is happening to the leaves towards the top of the plant, near its new growth - not so much on the older leaves/growth?

this is a critical stage of its growth, so as you are, be vigilant.

my greatest worry was rats jumping over my fence and raiding the garden.
Hey there just a small issue, overall a healthy plant I think but I do have a little droop and curl in some leaves is this a hungry plant or over heated one. View attachment 891635

Yeah change the water pH 2 weeks ago and insulated the pot to keep the root temp down. Went into flower after that. I gave her a half strength feed today pH 5.6 of both Veg and Bloom she's 2nd week in flower these are her first nutrients though so we'll see how she takes it.

It affect random leaves manly the larger fan leaves the ends are slightly darker to.

pH 5.6 - that would be for hydroponic purposes, no? you might want pH to be betw 6 to 6.8 for soil?

what was it before, the pH readings?

what's that veg & bloom you used?

Probably around 8 it was straight tap water I use lemon juice to drop the ph now so i'll adjust that now. it's called cyco bloom cheap one I found I'm just trying to dense up my bugs..

ok. bump the pH up to 6.0 or above on its next feed, i reckon that 5.6 is too low for soil. the pH levels affects the uptake rate of the plant for the various nutrients, so nutrient lockouts can be due to pH issue.

Awesome thanks man I'll post next week. Happy farming.. 👍

Next time you water the growing medium, test the pH of the water/solution going in, then test the pH of the runoff water

If the pH of the runoff is in the right range, even if it’s not the same as the pH you put in, you’re good. If the pH of the runoff water coming out is too high or too low for your range, you know that you’ll need to correct the pH.

I water once a day about 2-3 ltrs to get some run off I haven't tested that yet but will tomorrow..i'll probably feed half dose of A and B every 3rd day for 2-3 weeks keep the pH a tad over 6.. What do you reackon..

measure and record - see what pH of water is, see what the fertiliser solution's pH and what the run-off's pH is. then adjust accordingly. i.e. if soil's run-off is too high, then lower that pH of water/solution, etc, visa-versa.

the water and if nutrient solution is same strength, then you would need to adjust the same accordingly each time you prepare - so you want to measure all this.

i suppose the growing conditions such as temperature & soil mix will affect these reading or amounts or frequency of watering/solution. you know your own conditions as far as watering/feeding schedule, as your plant is otherwise rigorous - so you have got it right up till now.

not sure, here - but some ppl prefer to water with little run off, while 10-20% run-off when apply fertiliser, etc, each to their own - in the end, see how the plant reacts to the conditions. i like to give it about that 10% run-off, that way i know that i have watered/feed it right through the potted soil mix.

i myself don't take such measurements - but my interest has been sparked. got a few things on my plate, but certainly an important part of a grow - to get the pH and nutrients correct.

you got a pH pen?

I've only got test solution so I have to capture about 15-20mls to be able to test. Which shouldn't be an issue I'll test everything today and start to keep record. So far my most successful so hopefully she stays on the right track I appreciate the advise.

Is it OK to leave my mixed feed solution sit in a bottle for a few days between feeds providing the pH is still good..?

Howdy there
She took really well to the nutrients I started feeding her the droop and curl in the leafs is going and she's stretching every day. Still only feeding half dose but feed every second day will start full dose this weekend and push back to every 3rd day. I'm getting a pH and TDS pen to make things a bit easier. Tied her down over the weekend she loved it, gave her another trim of fan leaves to get the light in. All and all doing well.

First off I know several banks that ship anywhere so seedstock should not be a problem, I have a friend in the UK I'm trying to teach to grow, he too has trouble finding stuff, until I told him he can go on amozon us, for blooming i highly no pun recommend atami bloombastic, this will blow your plant up, why can't u get bio biz they sell that over there, or make your own, peat, pearlite, vermaculite, bat or seagulls guano or fish mulch, and a microbes solution to make it alive, it's been a long time since I made soil I can get u the recipe but many people here do it so you should have no problems, it's been so long I forgot the name of the microbe solution , but you should be able to get it, my friend in the UK could probably get most of what u need and ship it to you, as for fluff bud some plants do that, I just grew 2 different strains together cured the same, 1 plant bud is hard and compact the other fast buds is fluff bud, I really don't think it's anything I did, some strains flower is hard and compact some fluff but I only grow autoflowers so that could be it, or most of my fluff bud comes from fast buds so I think it's the stain.
