Any advice on initial distance from the canopy to the 400 watt? Maybe 24” to start, maybe even 30” for a day and then bring it closer a couple inches every day until they’re getting as much as they can handle?

seriously why does everyone seem soo concern about having the light at so called “perfect distance”?..
keep at 30-35 inches for a week while observing the reaction of the leaves (any stress),
or if the plant goes to “sleep” hour or 2 before lights out.. etc..

Well I’m not necessarily overly concerned, just totally new to this and unaware of how important certain factors like light distance may or may not be.
