How's it going guys I'm a first time grower and new the the site. I have germinated amd planted some seedlings in small jiffy pots. I have a argobrite t5 h.o 4 ft. 8 bulb light for veg and a Kind led xl750 for flower. Questions I have are how do you think my little baby's look and if I'm doing anything wrong. I have the plants from top of pot to light 29 inches away. With all 8 bulbs on. Am I giving to much light? One plant looks like something is wrong? I water every other day. No nutrients yet. Planted in happy frog soil. Going to use fox farm nutrients. Thanks for all replies.

they look like they are stretching. (not getting enough light) try putting the light closer

How close would you think? Is all 8 bulbs too much if moved closer? There 54w each

They look fine... I would leave em as they are. It's not uncommon to have a leaf with slight deformity at the very start. 99% will grow out of it.

Any tips of anything I could improve?
Not yet they look good man. The best tip i can give is don't love them to death. I know it's so hard to keep your hands off them and want to do everything you can but honestly the more you do the more you risk killing em. More plants die to love than neglect.

Ideal conditions for the next couple weeks.

Humidity 65%
Temp 77-83f

No nutrients just water.

Light 18/6 but can do 24/0 if you so choose.

Keep em over 70f at night

Don't over water them. Water thoroughly once and likely won't need to again for week or more.

After this is done... Get some rope and find someone you really trust... Give them the rope and tell them to tie your hands together. Once that's done tell them only to untie you after one week so you can check the soil to see if it needs watering.

🤣🤣 I'll have to go buy some rope. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it.

Hey, welcome. I’m on my first grow as well, I’m just a little over a week ahead of you. I also used jiffy pots for my seedlings. Looks good man, keep us all updated, I love seeing everyone’s grow.

Are you going to plant the jiffy pots directly into the forever homes?

Nice! Man I looked at your pics they are looking good. And as far as the jiffy pots... I think I might cut most of the pot off but leave a little of the top. So it's not so much stress on transplant but easier for the roots to expand into the final pot

Yeah, I’ve been freaking out about everything so far lol, I ended up removing all of the pot except the bottom, the roots were growing into the pot and I didn’t want to damage them. I hear a few terrible noises when I removed them, but so far so good, no issues

Agreed with above from my own experience. It was so hard to not overwater at first. After two times of overwater I’ve learned my lesson. Mine completely dry out before I water them now. They’ve also told me they don’t want any nutes. Twice now lol. Even at quarter strength. So I’m done giving them to them until they ask for it and even then gently. Happy growing. Plant is humboldt sour diesel fem seeds in nectar soil. They def do best when I leave them alone They get topped and bent when out for watering.

How old are yours? And the strains. I ordered from a place in the us called east coast seed bank. He breeds his own strains. I have some called squatch and another strain botch toe. Order time was like 3 days

Day 15 from sprout. All three are super silver haze from CKS. It’s cool cause one looks completely different from the other 2

Crop King Seeds. My buddy who grows has success with them. So far so good, 3/3 germination
You must be Canadian also... They are out of Vancouver... I never had an issue the one time I ordered but thier rep is iffy.

Ohh yra I have seen them and checked out the site. I just wanted to try something within the United states. Especially because this virus who knows when it would have came in
