Eradicating world hunger requires increasing the access to food, not simply the production.
How true...
Interesting article! Thx for sharing!

access to food has long been restricted, but its up to people to resist today. Refuse to buy property unless it has adequate garden space, refuse to shop at super markets, go local where and when possible, eat with seasons not fashion. it wont happen while everyone keeps attending walmart. here in lays our biggest threat, ourselves and our neighbors bro.

What's your auto's looking like now? I'm interested in seeing them because I do remember we were around the same time, maybe a week or 2 apart but I got a badddd memory

If you started yours last Monday then it's a week difference. Mine is starting to get a bit frosty only by now and only just slightly. Having some issues anyways. Flowering Week 5.
The lower fan leaves of the upper buds have started turning yellow and there's some smaller spots on certain leaves on plant 1. The lower fan leaves are green but have yellow veins, the upper fan leaves are yellow but do have greener veins. Now I might be utterly wrong, but to me, it looks like she's hungry or at least using resources from lower leaves. Could it be that this is a mix of mg and n deficiency? If so, I thought of using an epsom foliar feed to at least check if it's an mg deficiency or not, and not lowering the biobizz grow as planned to give them a bit extra n... Hmm... Always having a hard time diagnosing plants and still 2-3 weeks to go, depending on much extra time they'll be needing after I pruned them (autos...)

I would argue that you have an Iron def here and not Mg. may be run a humate drench, use a foliar of fulvic acid to chelate your Fe. Most of the time, a blast with silicon will rectify internal pH matters. Any swings up or down would cause a head ache with Fe, it likes to vanish first imo

This might help http://www.canna-uk.com/info-courier_iron too and the wider ref is pretty good so you can see how close you are too N :-) I feel you issues being a detective is tough

Yes, indeed... I hate it... And now I'm even more confused. lol! Actually, I think you're right about the f / mg issue on some leaves but still my question is: Are you saying my 2 plants are suffering from one and only deficiency .. iron? No N deficiency at all? Because now, when I do compare the iron deficiency to my top leaves, it looks like f starts from the inside, while n starts from the outside. The top is yellowing from the outside and it has started with the bigger leaves, not the younger ones like in f. New growth is still green as well. But than again, veins are green, just like in iron deficiency. It's all kinda mixed up somehow and that's why I'm always having trouble really telling what it is and where to put the weight on. Like: judge by where it starts or judge by how it looks like, because somehow, it is never as clear as in these def chart pictures... lol...

The biggest headache element is P, are you using too much, most people do. Safe P levels are from about 50-100PPMS, rarely do we need more than this.

Other possibles: has it been cold? wet for too long? Usually N goes west as does S which would also cause a yellowing out. N and S are hard to separate, they tend to be all over. Fe goes out quickly, its certainly one of the first to drop out from the micro line.

Looking at the chronology of the yellowing, its older leaves first, so N would be in line but so would Fe, it accumulates in older leaves and is non mobile relatively.

N would be: Reduced growth, light green to yellow foliage (chlorosis); reds and purples may intensify with some plants; reduced lateral breaks; symptoms appear first on older growth right?
The best NH4+/NO3- ratio is 1/1; high NH4+ under low light can cause leaf curl; uptake inhibited by high P levels; indoors, best N/K ratio is 1/1 unless light is extremely high; in soils with high C/N ratio more N should be supplied.

Other possible Major would be Sulfur: Rarely deficient unless its cold and wet; general yellowing of the young leaves then the entire plant; veins lighter in color than adjoining interveinal area; roots and stems are small, hard and woody

Iron: Is fixed by too much P under acidic conditions? What is your current P input? PPMs I mean not form as i suspect you are on P2O5 like most? What is the media type and pH range, what is the media CEC value?

About Fe: Absorbed as Fe++, Fe+++; accumulates in the oldest leaves and is relative immobile in the phloem; necessary for the maintenance of chlorophyll.
Interveinal chlorosis primarily on young tissue, which may become white; Fe deficiency may occur even if Fe is in the soil when: soil high in Ca, poorly drained soil, soil high in Mn, high pH, high P, soil high in heavy metals (Cu, Zn), oxygen deficient soils or when nematodes attack the roots; Fe should be added in the chelate form; the type of chelate needed depends upon the soil pH; foliar fertilization will temporarily correct the deficiency; may be deficient in some grasses where pH and P are high

my rec would be use a kelp/ fulvic foliar, i wouldn't ever use epsom salts, but I get people do

I hear that brother, I take very detailed notes about my inputs for such trouble shooting matters. I never over feed P, i go under first eg 50, I find most are really happy at about 80 and I get next to no other issues with other lock out types. when I feed heavy P, I get issues.
Up the N but as ever, careful in bloom, avoid calmag with NH4 if you use a nute with both NO3/H4 types
