Hmm. Unfortunately i was taken off this project. I haven't posted as id like to remain professional in the face of adversity. I will try to have someone else get in there for pics if the legalities work out.

Its defiantly been another serious lesson in trust, patience and resolve.

Thanks to all of you who have posted, you have no i idea how much i appreciate it right now.

Sorry to hear. Keep up your spirits. This thread has helped many, many people. Im about to start my slab experiments because of your posts. Thanks for helping me out so much!

Definitely not cool, but great to see your professionalism even when you have been treated poorly. I've got a feeling that things are going to work out just fine for you: Good things come to those who wait DS ;)

DS I am having a hard time figuring out your friends profile. Does it stay the same in veg and flower? Is the amount in Blue? What are the other amounts that are in white? Thanks

Yes, the blue columns are used. and 2-3 weeks is how long i use them for.
DS,

First off let me say that you had what just may be the healthiest plants I have ever seen... really. Major kudos to you for that.

Now as to your reservoir management style: I understand the nute profile you posted and that it is kept from veg through flower.

A couple of questions:

A) Outside of those first two weeks where you are giving the girls a lower strength dose do you keep your ec constant? Or do you raise it as the girls mature?

B) The actual reservoir: So you start out with a mix that is 1.4 ec for example. Do you try to keep it at that strength via add backs within that 2 week period of time? If so at what strength?

I know these are noobish questions but I am new to hydro and really do want to learn.

Thanks for your time and inspiration,

215

Bump...the nute profile is easy on my brain....lol...also wondering if DS ever added onto why aerators are problematic and if using bennies, specifically Cap's, would the air stones still be problematic, and aren't they necessary if running a live res?

If your running rockwol then the bennies can colonize that, still no need for stones etc.

Airstones are inferior to water recirculation.

This is for ebb and flow all the way through. You prob know that by now. One table is Hugo's on slabs. The other two are Hugo's in Hydroton. Do you mean using a separate pump in the res for recirculating the water inside of the res? I used to do that, can't rememeber why I went back to airstones. But I am kinda confused, as always, about what the recirculation means? I am wondering if that means just the recirculation from the ebb and flow cycles? Thanks.

man....times like this I know why I am so hard on myself. Dug my old journal out. First tent grow. Had read article that using that method exposes more water to air than stone/s. I stopped not because it wasn't working but 'cause I was thinking too much....thought ph rise, which had just started, was not good and recirc was causing it. I had started using Subculture B at same time and was my first flood table grow. Had never had ph rise like that in CAP E and F bucket setup, because I always had root rot then too, comes with system design back then. Going to ebay right now to order Caps root pack.

Putting clones in Hugos after i order. Starting stage one with Dyna Bloom.
