New to ebb n Flow

Hello everyone got some ebb n flow tables filled and having problems with algae. I can fix this Can some one tell me why my stems are so thin and very purple. Nute Def? I will add a pic by the end of the day.

Hey Bigfarmer, I suggest you go check out some of the great hydro forums we have here at the farm. My suggestion would be to check your rez temps, put panda plastic over your tables and cut out spots for your pots or cubes. I usually get purple striation when my ladies are underfed.
