New to growing

Sounds like you got a good plan and it also fits your tents. Nice strains too.
Ok if it's first time growing, i actually got one advise before you start too much.
Think about access to the plants before making all setup ready. That means something for most.
If you only got 1 side access to 4 plants it can get a bit annoying to water and prune and stuff.

Nah they look better. Sometimes i feel like the plant and the soil have to get used to each other. Could also be why one is more affected.
They are also working a lot under ground trying to spread roots at that size.

Yeah you can test them this run, but if you gonna run 2 tents in the future then it's perfect with maybe the 2 x 4 for vegging and the lamps too.
Then bloom in the other tent. But there are many possibilities.

And if you gonna get new light, make sure they are for flowering too.
And if the light claims 3 x 3 ft covering with 100 watt, then maybe ask here at the farm before buying it.

Last thing if you want to put up the 3 x 3 too.
Then i think you got to think a little more about the temperature and the humidity. I don't know how much gear you have for that.

Nah they look better. Sometimes i feel like the plant and the soil have to get used to each other. Could also be why one is more affected.

okay I see what ur saying and on the other answer u mention to make sure I can get to the plants pretty easy before setting everything up for the long haul portion right?

Yeah i think you would like that in the long run. Easy access to the plants is good for most setups so if you got room for it i'd say that's a good start.
Not necessary but just nice. Especially if you got back issues.

Yeah don't put too much into what i said about that. It's just me that feel that the plants sometimes look a little funny to start with.
And it can last until flower for some of mine. It's like the roots the plant have to learn to communicate with the soil microbes.
It's mostly something i just imagine, but as long as it works, i'm fine.
Could be something totally different.
But different plants origin from different soil types and some adaption is going on. That i think is pretty widely accepted.

Edit: I think you got a good feeling of what's going on. I think that soil you mention may be the reason for the rough start.

Ahh man sorry.
One last advice for new grower.
Decide how much you want to grow before going crazy,
And maybe check around other treads for growing metodes. There are plenty of options.

Understood I cant thank you enough for your help with these I have friends that grow but I try not to just bother them about stuff an they do things a lil different than what I'm trying to do like manifolds and or topping I'm more interested in doin it in that fashion

Edit: I think you got a good feeling of what's going on. I think that soil you mention may be the reason for the rough start.

I hope I do I think with the things u have mentioned an what I've thrown at ya that I was doin helped fs I didn't think tho the wierd growth would last up till flowering potentially

About the weird grow until flower. That's probably just me doing something wrong.

I got a couple of questions.

Well the tangerine dream looks like it got some colors and it that new grow on the F1?.
Also how far is your light from the plant? I assume the light only have one setting.

And last thing. Did you get some normal potting soil for that candy cane? It's pretty normal seedlings don't like to be feed much so if its same soil, that could be why you think it could look better.
For new seedlings it's more easy to use soil without nutes, Just the first week or so. So if you can't get that then run some water through the soil you have before planting the seedling. It' should be able to manage though, just a bit rough start

That hulkberry looks good. Some good branching. But what is your plan now you have 4 plants?

Looking at the candy cane again. That should normally have been standing straight with open first leafs. Unless it just came over ground an hour or two ago.
So if it's not the soil then it might be a watering issue, but i think that's to early to get that issue.
But i think you will figure it out.

the f1 does have some new growth as in where I topped it the 2 new branches are coming in and the soil I did run water through the soil but I used the cup u see it in so I'm assuming that I should have used something different I was just worried about loosing too much of the actual soil itself an it only leaving pearlight
As for the light it does only have 1 setting and I have it around 2ft 6 inches or 29 cm
And the candy cane has been out the dirt for a few days same look today tho idk exactly what I should do I did try running water through it but it's not looking like I did it correctly
And my main plan is to try to flush everything that I can an I read that letting them dry up a lil before I keep just watering so they don't get too much water and other part of my plan is to make sure I have them where they are easily accessible I'm going to make some light adjustments to as needed I might have to end up buying new soil I'm afraid imma have a bunch of messed up plants if not

Ha ha i don't get that. If that is 2 ft 6 inch you mean it maybe too far away but that is not super important now.
The main thing is they don't get worse and get new grow.
The rest will come.
Also don't worry too much about the soil for now.
I have grown seedlings in rich soil i forgot to flush more than one time. It's not perfect but it can be done.
You got a rough start but that doesn't matter. You just learn more.

I'd say for now first thing to do is learning how to water.
So tell how you do. If you lift the pots and what not. The more you tell the better people can help

Ehhh careful with that. The dryback will rise the nute concentration.
If you want to flush might as well do it now.
Then let it dry out some. Or i would say let it drink because right now evaporation is not the best if you got many nutes in the soil at this point.

The advice you mention is not wrong per say, but every situation is a bit different.
And remember we are only guessing.
But if they are not getting worse then you don't need the flush. They will bounce back.

I didn't get if it was put in the same soil, but if it hasn't changed or opened from last it doesn't look good for that one. Sorry

You shouldn't worry about the hulkberry right now, but i'm not sure you got room for all 4 plants.
Depending of what size you make them of course.
That's why i asked about your plans.

Noticed in this thread a mention of back problems.
I have had issues for 20 years and have made changes in my grow style to overcome these issues.

One thing I did see is multiple tents in the same area. Prolly be necessary to remove tent exhaust from the lung room. I have plants in flower at 48% at night and seedlings at 80% right now. Exiting the veg into the lung room would not work.

I train for smaller plants in 3 gallon pots. I can not work on the plants bending over and have to put them on a desk with a chair. Plants come out good and I can fit 5 in a 4x4 no problem.

That's why i asked about your plans.

With the watering I typically put my finger down about a couple inches an feel for any moisture if I feel it an its dry I typically just use around a lil less than 1/4 of a bottled water on my f1 n tangerine the hulkberry if its dry I pour until I see very little come out the bottom of the pot and the seedlings I use a spray bottle an go with how the top soil looks n how dry it looks n typically just enough to moisten the soil around the stem of it
I didn't kno letting it dry could rise the nutes that could be part of it aswell I
I plan to top the plant twice an then lollipop it when time an was thinking about using a trellis net to keep the buds from being to close to each other
And do autos really get that big I need to worry about the room?? I can always use 2 tents if I have to?
And is 2 ft too far from the plants?

It all sounds good.
Yes if the water evaporates the concentration of nutes will go up and that is fine.
Just not when the plants are seedlings in hot soil.
I'm a bit unsure about giving advice but in your situation i would prevent evaporation a bit. With some kind of soil cover. I use a cardboard as a lid.
But there are other ways to do it too. Some use plant parts. Just make sure it doesn't got bugs.

About the light.
Keep it like it is for now, it more easy not to change too much at a time.
I just wanted to get an idea of your situation.

I don't use worm castings but they should also be good.
But if a plant is struggling it's more often than not better not to add more nutes.
That said as i understand worm casting, it's not the worst in your case so i think it's ok.
Just not for the candy cane. I hope it makes it but i'm afraid it's toasted.

Next time you got rich soil no need to ad anything the first 2-4 weeks.
Just to keep it simple to start with.

Autos can be small or big.
If you want to see a big auto then check GasPlease tread.
He harvested a monster auto last month or so. He's also good at sharing what he does.
Also maybe a bit too much mixing autos and regular plants first grow.
But if you're up for it, no problem.
