Welcome to the farm! How long has it been in that pot, and what kind of soil are you using? If it's been in that pot for more than a few weeks then I'd up pot it to a large pot like @rubthe nub was suggesting. With the topping its more a preference situation depending on if you want a wide bushy shrub or a tall x mas tree type plant

Try Fox Farm oceanic forest it's all organic and feeds your plant with everything it needs all you'll have to do is Alittle LST and water it. Good luck I've grown mostly outdoors but I've switched to indoor and am currently working on my first op, this is an Alien OG I'm experimentIng with I started it as a seed about a month ago it's got nothing but the fox farm ocean forest soil and water and it's super healthy, just transplanted it today. This website is the best once you figure it all out.I'm using 100% organic potting soil with perlite. It's in a 5 gallon pot. It's been in that pot for about 4 weeks.
Trust me, you'll have more problems if you leave it alone then if you repot
it will out grow that 5 VERY soon.
it's only mid June, it's going to be in that pot until early to mid Oct.
that's at LEAST another 10-12 weeks of active growth plus 8-10 weeks in flower.
65 gallon smart pot should cost ya less than $20.
you need about 7 cubic feet of soil, not sure what will run maybe $80? idk depends on your shop or what you buy
the yield will be well worth the investment:D
good luck
to clarify i wasnt suggesting not repotting but as to the original question of tiping and cleaning . However im not sure she needs to go to a 65 gal pot eithier . I wouldthink a 20 gal would suffice unless you want to grow a monster tree
