good point doc my goal is to encourage as much lateral growth as possible this an experiment.. keep in mind that the trunk of that plant is 1 inch across she is setting up to yield heavy IMO I may remove some lesser side shoots but honestly I don't think I will. she also is getting 12 solid hours a day of hot colorado sun the entire plant is getting plenty of light. like I said this is an experiment in supercropping. I normally lollypop indoors to take advantage of less light. I got to tell ya 9000 ft sun is hot and burns me in minutes.

Day 9 flower;
they are looking great continuing to stretch a little and really starting to set flowering. I gave them their third dose of herculean harvest liquid bone meal it really boosts them. their aromas are hashy earthy slightly putrid old school smells love it i really do.

You are going to seed everyone in the neighborhoods crop if you don't chop that male lol, that thing is a monster.

Plants looking good sir. I'm interested to see when your girls finish up doing the light dep starting 9 days ago. My girls here in CO just started showing signs of flowering without any light dep. Do you plan on doing the light dep all the way til the end?

yes Dr he is a monster and fast too went from just showing signs to where he is now in like 5 days.it seems to me that he deserves a chance atfter hiding so well. his structure is very sturdy and not lanky like many male plants you will notice that I removed all of the branches save one from him. My plan is to get a baguette bag and slide it over him when he drops then carefully pollinate a single branch of both the girls. that will give me a widow f2 and an fi that I bet performs great outdoors in colorado. after perusing nirvana's site and looking at all the indicas I think we are looking at northern lights #1 or aurora indica either way with the white dad they will be frosty monsters.
and under the sun thank you for the kind words indeed this has been a terrific season with lots of hot sun and brisk breezes.
as to the light deprivation idea It seems to be working out nifty they are getting 12 full hours of hot sun followed by 12 hours of total darkness.
they are behaving just like an indoor plant and triggering nicely , but with the caveat of having that beefier outdoors stems and leaves. My plan is to finish them up in the blind. my only concern is mold developing once they get closer to done.I will have to rig up some ventilation. I figure that widow has a 10-11 week flower period and this one is very much a sativa leaning pheno so I am thinking 12 or 13 weeks to really finish her off right. so if I have to towards the end of september I can overnight them with some jugs of hot water to keep frost at bay and back in the sun in the morning.
we shall see how it all turns out.
when these are done I am going to be starting an indoor grow with my p-13 f1 and a very special bubblegum.

Day ten flower;
Things are happy under the sun in colorado and all 3 plants are growing exceptionally well, just amazingly well actually.
I think my latest fert experiment is working just perfect.
3 gallon kitty litter bucket
one good morning piss
1/2 capfull of herculean harvest
fill the bucket with water
water the plants then water 100% more with fresh water.
fuckin stunning results outside in containers. and cheap.

at any rate it's day 10 and they are really beefing up in preparation for bud city. I estimate 5-6 oz from the indica and 3-4 from the sativa. the male is also amazing his flowers are huge and he stinks even with nothing but 1 branch, good sign..
I am going to start a new thread for this but as the girls are just starting and the boy will pop by monday morning should I just pollinate the shit out of both girls and let them continue with a bunch of fat mature seeds in the hearts of the buds? or should I stick with the program and just do 1 side shoot. I also took 2 cuts from each plant and stuck em in a glass of water no wilt juts like oh ok whatever love outdoor plants the are so much hardier.

and on we go the girls are done stretching and are now setting into flower all is well.

Day 12 flower;
we had guests over last night so I put the girls away at 4 instead of 745 well they liked it flower production is off the hook with both plants I am hoping that my training will pay off here and yield me some fat heavy donkey dicks this september.
its day 3 or 4 of the explode clone project "thread to come" they look well the same I change the water out 2 times a day and keep them in light at least 16 hours a day. I believe they will grow roots and then its the ultimate growers challenge the atomic bomb plant.
The boy is within hours of opening and the girls are quivering at the thought so cute.
as well I am now cropping my pics to help see whats going on. hope you folks like them.

indeed these gals are aromatic fortunately neighbors on both sides are cool.
so whoo hoo these gals are going to town such great development this 90= degree hot sunny weather has them kicking ass.
also the male ww is popping with several open flowers and many more to come today so august 2nd these strains are borned.
nirvana ww f2 and nirvana ww x mystery indica f1 I will have tons of seeds if any colo growers want some LMK.
the cuttings are doing ok with still no wilting so hopefully my experiment works

we are having a goo old mile high 3 way at day 14 flower there will be seeds but thats ok, they still have 7-9 weeks left im sure they will fill in

day 15 flower,
another hot assed day on tap with full rocky mountain sunshine. I don't know what is the reason but these plants are flowering so fast. the indica I imagine will be a absolute beast in yield she is just so flowerfull.
so I did see a few swollen calyxes so some pollen did set I have them in the three way again today and then its down the disposal for roger.

I think the combination of hot sun and a definate 12 hours of complete darkness are doing some magic Doc. considering they are at day 15 flower My mind is blown, in a good way.I am thinking of a way to further train next years crop while still maintaining mobility. pegs in the soil?

day 16 flower;
I killed the boy last night and fed him to the garbage disposal. but he got his before he died.
I am seeing some withered pistols a sign of pollination here and there on both girls so I am hopeful that I will get some very mature seeds out of this grow.
they are continuing to kick ass and at just day 16 I am seeing trichs,thats a good sign.
I am a happy camper.
also the cuttings I took still look just fine I am hopeing for roots in the next 10 days

we are having a couple of cool cloudy days so I expect to see somewhat slower growth.
but still they kick ass I hope that they keep it up at this pace for 5 or 6 more weeks.
that will give me enough to get through the winter.

another cloudy day cool temps and humid"for colo".
the girls are looking good flowering their asses off. the smells are starting to get richer in the morning when I pull them out of the black out shack. love the smell of nirvana white genetics.
for the first time this morning I had to remove 3-4 dead leaves, must be getting on I am seeing gold red and light brown colores coming through. I bet they get pretty by mid september I love to smoke over done bud let it go till its dead almost.
IMHO those late life terpines have a flavor that is bar none..
the cuttings are also still hanging in there I am seeing no rot or wilt at all so far so good.
