Looking nice! Much farther along than mine and we started flowering around the same time. The light dep sure speeds it along. Saying possible lows in the 40s tonight.

Thanks for the kind words underthesun the shelter does seem to make a big difference its like the best of both worlds hot sun combined with tightly controlled photoperiod. and yes dr I feel a long winter coming up with a cool fall .the next 10 days here are supposed to stay in the 60s and 70s with lots of rain. as well lots of trees in the area have started to show patches of yellow/gold just like my widow plant they can sense it.

day 34 flower;
well it got down to 45 degrees last night their first fall like night the indica is astounding me with her copious resin production she is just absolutely falling all over herself to grow them. also I am starting to see that tight bud formation with some buds growing past the upper pediols , nice,,,as for the widow she is becoming her fall self losing large leaves like crazy but growing buds just as fast my experience with this line causes me to remember that nirvana ww ripens up in the last 3 weeks and can be deceptive. if done right its some of the most potent and flavorful smoke I have had. as the pics show she is much further behind than the indica. but she can go as late as she needs.
I have an idea to get a pure sativa ie ss durban and start them indoors in big pots in december then move them outside as soon as possible in an out on warm days etc. I believe that I could get nice equatorial yield. then cross that durban male to my ww f2 and also to the indica and also to the indica ww f1 interesting possibilities and years of fun to be had here.

well I did a lil bondage trick on the girls and kinda sucked em up into themselves it worked and now getting them out the shelter is less of an ordeal on us both.
indica is amazing with the buds really starting to fatten up and loads of trichs as well. the widow is now starting to show signs of maturity and starting to pump out the trichs as well. you have to be patient with the white lady and she will reward you.
the jar is my flower food liquid bone meal and molasses.

Just slowly lower the light time untill you get it to 14/10 light/dark and check your local daylight time to see when you will have more than 14 hours of daylight to set them out.

well I had to leave town so a buddy put the girls away last night and I pull them out this morning and I have a lower side shoot snapped off and hanging. sad morning what I did get will be ok but it would have been much much better in a few weeks. I hope that the seeds in that branch are mature thats my biggest concern.

Day 37 flower;
we have had some cool cloudy days in the last week and I think the girls are being tricked into thinking its later than it is in the season.loads of leaf die off on the widow the inner growth is ok its all of the sun leaves that are dying off, her flower formation on the other hand would indicate peak flower hmm I hope that she is ok.
the indica is as usual crysty as all get out just lovely and her smell is maturing as well its a piney skunky stinky foot kinda smell.
as to the broken side branch well i was able to pry some very fat mature seeds out of it so I guess its time to germ for indoor 2016/2017 and then another outdoor round.

day 38 flower;
well its starting to feel like fall early down in the high forties overnight. leaves changing all around.
the widow is starting to fill in really nicely and is getting more resinous every day. the same with the indica this cold snap seems to have gotten her to pack in as many flowers as possible. every side shoot is just loaded with crusty nugs.
It looks like the seeds in the broken branch are ok they could have gone longer but still look 70% viable with some bigassed dark one in the mix. and there is lots of em.

day 39 flower;
continued cool nights and mostly cloudy day for the last week it has made these two really go for it for fear of frost. just rockin it the indica is inher last flush stage but the widow looks to be late peak with still 3-4 more weeks left. she is finally really starting to put on the trichs as well lately I have to just keep reminding myself we have a 75% sativa here she will go till november if I let her but will ripen up by the end of september if we have a warm fall I may just let her go an go. we shall see

day 40 flower;
continued cool nights and really brought out the fall colores in these two thw are just glowing. the widow is finally starting to produce heavy trichs and still looks to have 3-4 more weeks in her, the indica is looking like 2-3 more weeks. I have to say I will be glad to not have to drag em around any more after harvest. I also plucked 2 seeds right off each plant and stuck them in nice soil they will be my december christmas buds.

Day 41 flower;
well the fall colors in my garden and some of the local foliage match my two girls I am seeing a hint of purple in the indica and incredibly even more trichs holy shit where is she putting them wow I got me a landrace keeper here. hindu kush valley most likely and developed at high altitude just a guess but i bet i'm right.the widow is showing more gold then green in the larger outer growth but bud formation is off the hook so no worries its her sativa genes coming through. shes produces more trichs daily but i'm still not seeing the white effect yet its amazing to watch this variety go from ehhh to wow in like 4-5 day at the end you just have to be patient and wait it will come.
I figure out my next seed purchase durban from shanti at serious and use a male to cross back to the widow f2 female mostly sativa pheno. make a 3/4 sativa early somewhat compact yum yum the durban is great for that.
then I plan to get the original ww now called black widow and cross a male with a female bubble f1 for a 3 way punch 75% indice again somewhat short and acclimated to my location. exciting days ahead to be sure. now more bud porn first the widow

well the continued cool nights have really changed the widow from green to gold she glows when the sun hits her as well her flower production is great, the indica is starting to finish up.

Day 43 flower;
its gettin cool enough at night that i have to close my windows so i just know the gals are feeling the pinch to get er done.
the widow is continuing ti get golder in color the leaves went from green to lime green then yellow but I think they are still doing something because they continue to track the sun throughout the day.the widow is looking like she is gettin ready to wrap up and get crusty here in the next week or 2 and the indica bubbles is almost ready i give her a week to 10 days. I will pull a test bud to see how the seeds are first

oh yes doc I plan to make dry sift hash and butane extract as well as butter and topical ointments. there will be a lot of good trim. and next year I'm going to put 10 of em outside so this time next year i will be set for the winter.I hope my new f1 seeds turn out good we shall soon see.
