I've never grown marijuana. I don't like it. It smells funny but my mom has cancer and my stupid brother gave her some and she started eating more but he hasn't come around and I can't count on him so I'm going to try and do it myself. It's illegal but I don't care. I just want my mom to be better.

Outdoor or indoor? I'm no expert that's for sure, but some basic gardening skills have given me some pretty good results so far on my first 2 plants. My first suggestion is to research strains as some are more medicinal than others

So indoors, in a tent.
Lets keep it super simple.
Find a 3'x3" tent. A 300W light your going to end up with a 600
Set light 30" above your pots! No closer.
60% power.
You will need fans filters and timer.
Search google for seed bank
Maybe search your local facebook marketplace and buy a used setup.
Try an autoflower. Buy 3 Northern Lights Feminized Autorflower seeds and everything needed in the video.
This makes it super easy

what you really want is to find any caregiver around another state to send you some RSO (rick simpson oil, phoenix tears), or if you can go to another state to get some or buy some RSO too is an option, its the best oil to help with cancer treatments side effects. If i was living in your country i would send you two 10ml syringes (good for at least some months depending on your mom tolerance much more than that)

Yep it's that one, it doesn't cures cancer but it helps tremendously with nausea, well being, quality of life and bringing back appetite witch in turn helps a lot with the common medicinal treatment too and general recovery.

Along with the great help you wil find here, buy a book if you can by Ed Rosenthal, Jorges Cervantes or any other professional grower. Lots of valuable info in those also.

First off, glad to hear it helped your mom even if it was only appetite that’s a lot, every bit helps

To start, go cheap without going cheap, 4x4 or 3x3 grow tent

A 300-400w light for the 3x3 and a 500-650w light for a 4x4 (if buying LED lights)

Soil… not a place to cheap out, but quality, this is your plants beating heart, many options around (and you’ll get many suggestions) I prefer promix BX (peat moss)

Neuts, find something simple many MANY people will make suggestions here, my suggestion for neuts, besides Gaia green dry amendments) is try not to choose a line that needs you to buy 20 bottles, most is just a money grab

Seeds… seeds… this besides the soil, is your make it or break it purchase. You want something dependable, believe me and many other growers on this site that have had the bad luck of getting some crappy bred genetics by “big name” breeders.

As of lately I’ve only been running @Trustfall genetics with excellent success

Head is still ticking I’m sure many more will chime in before I return with more options lol

I’m just guessing, but if you grow it, you’re probably looking at a minimum of three or four months to get anything usable. If you don’t have that kind of time, you’re gonna have to find it in a legal state and go buy it. Good luck!

Good News! Yesterday I had posted what my situation was on another marijuana forum and a bunch of their members offered to donate whatever they could to help. So far they've offered me a 5 x 5 tent, 2 lights, cloth pots, a T6 fan with a speed controller, vertical germinator, seeds, a 6" clip on fan, 3 part fertilizer. One of them offered to send me a bag of soil. He called it a Fox Farm Forest.

Wtf forum is this? Give away what you don't use anymore? I mean I'm cool with giving but you gotta question the condition you are receiving your stuff in. You can get a full set up for under 1000 that's brand new dude. Damn...I mean...how clean is that stuff?

I have no idea but they seemed pretty helpful and they're willing to pay shipping so I don't think they're going to send me stuff that doesn't work.

At this point I'm not really in any position to be picky about stuff. I don't have $1,000.

My brothers friend told me his friend said this site was his favorite new marijuana forum so I joined and posted like here.
