Humdinger, Forest is a good starting soil. I suggest putting a couple seeds in a bowl of water overnight, then planting them an inch deep in a half-full solo cup of fresh soil covered with a baggie to retain moisture til it sprouts, a clear cup is best so you can see water and roots. Half-full cup in case the seedling goes spaghetti, u can add more soil. After soaking overnight the seeds will sink, full of water to germinate. Keep temperature in the high seventies.
