Male sterility

Currently working on crossing La Con and The Black. My male (The Black) is a true specimen but the balls are popping and no pollen to be found. NONE! Has this ever happened anyone?

ive had this happen and still had conception by cutting the male flowers and letting them dry then dropping them on top of the female flowers but the rate of conception is low to none.
