OG X Headband Kush grow, help me make huge buds!

Hey my names 3RON, i started growing this after it sprouted from a seed, (i germinated it in a paper towel) its been about 5 days now, and i have pictures from the last four, i will be postin those, and a pic of its daily growth. i would appreciate everyone's opinions and input on how to improve, and help me grow an amazing plant. :]

here are some pics of the set up, its just in a whited out box, with a tray on the bottom. One single 250w fluorescent light, about an inch away from the plant. its all in my closet in my room, problem is it has to stay on the down low because im still at the parents :[

just a bit of advice. unless your parents are cool with you growing your asking for trouble. i'm not trying to be harsh just honest. i've had plenty of plants chopped by my mom while trying to grow under her nose in high school. ventilation is in the top 3 most important things for growing, and that plus lights can be near impossible to hide. just remember mother nature is the best grower and a good safe outdoor spot can be much more rewarding(just harder to find)
on the other hand if your parents are cool then good luck. i will be happy to help in anyway i possibly can, and there are loads of folks on this site with knowledge to grow the worlds finest. your at the right place my friend. keep us posted and i can't wait to see how things go:rauch08:

what are you using for soil? it looks like you could use some vermiculite to help with drainage. i like your set up, but you can tell that they are not handling the high temp to well. moving the light to about 3-4 inches away from the plant will keep the radiant temps down a little. you can tell by the way the leaf edges are curling up. also do you have some kind of constant air flow like an a small oscillating fan? otherwise things look to be going pretty good. keep posting pics i'm pumped to see how this goes.

Day 7, with pic and vid

First off, thank you Fools Gold for showin interest in my grow, for soil im just using dirt from the garden in my back yard, figured it would work okay. i also took your advise and backed the light off it 3-4 inches so ill see how that goes...any yep i just put them in last night but there two fans i took out of a dead xbox 360 (r.i.p.) haha but i just wired it so i could plug it right into the wall with an old cell phone charger. there currently set to turn on and off two times a day, i have them set on a timer and it keeps them on for about 7 hours, twice a day. i did a little vid to show you the new fans and everything so check it out!

lol love the fan set up. who would have guess an xbox actually had some real use. she's growing nicely my man. that little set up is pretty cool. i would highly suggest investing in some fresh potting soil. fox farm, bio-bizz, and even miracle gro make good soils. garden soil will probly work, but at least with fresh soil you know its clean and fungus free. otherwise things seem to be growing just fine. no yellowing, no dropping of leaves, good healthy vigorous growth, and now some fresh air from those fan your doing alright. keep us posted bud.

Day 8, pic and transplanting question

haha im glad you like it! im also happy to finally get some decent use out of that piece of crap lol. im def going to invest in some fresh soil for the transplant to a bigger pot, when would you recommend that i make the swap?? thanks again for all the help and like always, heres her daily picture :]

i'd say you'll be good in that container for at least another week possibly two. it's kinda hard for me to tell tho. if you can apox. how much soil is it in now?

btw that little camera is tits man! i would sit there and just watch it grow all day...there would always be something good on the tube.:character0113:

Day 9, pic update

okay so that sounds good to me, ill leave her in the cup for another week or two, im not sure how to describe how much soil is in there, but it was a normal plastic dixie cup about 3/4 full of soil.

and yeah! im lovin the camera too, i get to wake up and see her waving at me on the screen :] finally starting to see some real leafs in there now, pretty legit! heres todays pic!

you can already tell the heat issue is no longer a problem. the new growth looks good and healthy. and i'd go one more week in that container and the make the move to larger pot. keep up the good work bud.

Day 10, with pic

Hey guys, :animbong: its good to hear you think that the fans fixed up my heat problem. also everyone was sleepin while i made that first video so i had to be quiet lol and im sure i was quite baked also. its just past 4:20pm and im gonna go blazzeee with my girlfriend,:weed-sign: but heres the new pic for today!

Day 11, with pic

i just took a measurement of her and shes about 2 1/4in tall. lol still a short one but lots of new growth on it that ill show in the next video on the 2 week mark (day 14). till then here's the daily pic, along with the grow room with a few minor changes.

just added a little light shade and some extra stuff to make it a little darker in the closet.

yeah i like your setup too :) but you shoulda move it in a bigger pot soon so it will be able to grow the roots fast.The sooner you move it..the better :)

Day 13, HELP!! with 420 pic and question

Hey so i missed my post yesterday because i was gettin hiiiiigh and partyin with my girlfriend in hollywood, but im back today and im startin to have a little problem it looks like...over the past day and a half, it has started to get a little droopy, and turning more lime green. i read that this can come from a few different things such as, over watering, too much light, too much heat, etc...but i want your oppinion on what you think i should do about it, i moved the light up away from it and have the fans on a little more than usually so hopefully that helps, but :sign0065: haha help me get her healthy again :banana1sv6:

try getting it in some fresh soil asap. then just give it fresh clean water, but do not over water. i think your right about whats causing the problem. the soil isn't draining enough and it's getting to hot in there. also you have fans exhausting the old air, but do you have a fan replenishing it will fresh air? a small regular fan will keep the air fresh and heat/ humidity levels fairly consistant.
what kind of light schedule are u using? 18/6, 20/4, 24/0?
