If you don't lay down some sort of barrier, yes the weeds and grass get in the way and your workplace/garden is a mess......lay the black down boom beautifully clean space....Ive got some in my hoop house to if you keep the air moving your in good shape

you got some great looking gals in your light dep and inside.and i reckon the locktite will be a monster as the nl x white lotus male(i cant remember the name.mount something) produces some cracking yeilds iv been told.same with the gg4.
you have some lovely strains going.
