Here we are as of yesterday (6/11) and they are healthy and Strong. Still standing by for the results. Usps lagging and it took a week to get there, just hoping they pick the samples up and I get the sex results back. I am ITCHING to transplant as they are just getting bigger each day and I want to top and manifold them, I just don’t want to do it before the bigger pots!!!
Also a couple pics for size comparison with my hand, don’t mind the nails lol

Here we are this morning! Things are still boomin in this tent!!
Hit them with recharge today, will do it again when I transplant to minimize shock. Last time I did that 3/4 plants had no sign of shock, hoping to duplicate those results, but then again they were in soil, this time coco. We will just wait and see!!
Any questions, comments, or constructive criticisms by all means let’s here what the farm has to say!!!

A picture from this morning:

Ok everybody! We have our results! Of coarse it happens during lights off so I cannot check them individually, but it looks like I have 3 females and 2 males. Lights turn on in another 2 hours,
The plan is to get a fresh mix of jacks and recharge ready and transplant about an hour or so after lights on so they aren’t still ‘sleepy’ (lol) transplant into their 3 gal pots and water till runoff around the outside of the transplanted root ball.
Any suggestions to help reduce possible shock?

just have everything ready!!
transplant when soil is dry/cups are light, give the cup a couple soft squeezes to help release her.
before taking out the plant..
do in dim light and if everything is ready it’ll be quick and shouldn’t be any shock at all.
water after transplant is done..

Tha me for those nick!
I think I managed alright to get them in their pots. Made a batch of nutes and watered till runoff for all 3. Now I have 2 of them in 2 gal pots and 1 in 3 gal. The reason for that is I didn’t have enough coco for 3-3gal pots. But should work out fine as is from what I gather. I will
Hit them with recharge in the am for their morning feeding, as I forgot to add that in for the transplant d’oh!

Now, should I ScROG, or should I manifold. I have the means to do both. Don’t have tooo much verticals height, but I do plan on topping down to at least the 3rd or 4th node and training either way. I m just excited at the idea of either one!

I definitely appreciate the videos and will need them at some point when I go back to soil. I’m testing mediums trying to find out what fits right for me the best

Alright, alright, alright,
Yesterday marked day 21 for flower, and you know what that means kids’, right?!? Last heavy defoliation for the ladies!!! Now before I get roasted for it,I will say that everyone I know who personally grows, does this, and everyone who I have been researching before starting to grow defoliates to one degree or another, hell one of my buddies said I should take more off, but this is where I wanted to cut back to and felt comfortable.
*Also a side note, I’ve ordered the roots organic terp tea bloom booster, which should get here just in time to start using it, should help with packing on weight for them.*

A reason why I’m doing it is to get more bud exposure to direct light.
I also believe they have stopped stretching, so a few questions to you fine folks reading this: should I lower the lights at all?
When should I stop adding silicon to the watering?
I’ll be getting some Ball mason jars soon as well as some sort of usb microscope, these eyes ain’t what they used to be lol
*Any comments, suggestions, constructive criticisms, anything that proactively helps is appreciated!* *****

I typically wear my shades when I’m in there for longer periods of time. I also have a little window in my tent that’s slightly darkened if I want to use that and look at them

Now another question that I’ve been thinking, is what’s the best way to flush in coco? In soil I flushed plain ph’d water for 14 days. In coco I’m thinking half that, so 5-7 days at a diluted low ppm amount. Thoughts?

Please guys, don’t exile me and be too harsh too quickly. It’s a bit of an experiment also. If it works I’ll have a great yield, if not, then I’ll have a not so good yield, and I’ll start over, I got a lot of seeds!!
I topped my plants down to their 3rd nodes, cleaned everything underneath them, and started training for a manifold.

After:

I know some of you might be cringing at this but it’s something I want to try out, with my plants.

Oh I plan on documenting as much as I can at least 1-2 pics of any updates with this training. I mean all the guides seem so easy to do, with the growth as explosive as I’ve been getting in coco I am confident that the only thing that would potentially hold it back is genetics. *fingers crossed*

Here we are, 5 days later. The ladies seemed to have recovered pretty quickly and showed good growth. Then,I did my 2nd/ final topping and cleaning. Now I should just sit back, do regular maintenance and feedings and let them grow with no more/minimal training!! I topped each end to the 3rd node, and trimmed the 2nd node on each. This leaves 4 growth tips per side aka 8 cola’s per plant. I have about 1.8 feet available for verticals growth, so let’s see what I get! It’s a sativa dominant strain so I know there will definitely be flowering stretch, so I might flip earlier than I anticipate. But we will see in a few weeks!!!!
I’m excited to see this one out and see what type of yield I can return using a manifold. All the guides and walkthroughs have sounded promising, especially since some have underpowered lights compared to what I’m using.

Pics of growth tips.
