I'm not sure about coco. I have heard people who use bottled nutes in soilless mediums, have tremendous results when they incorporate molasses, due to the chelating effect. It helps uptake much of what you are feeding roots.
My experience is organic soil (which I am changing my soil mix, again) and I try to keep things in the bacterial/fungal stages (i.e. bacterial - veg./ fungal - bloom). This works well for my method. Coco is a different animal, which I have limited experience. My next soil mix will include Sunshine Organic Growers mix, which has coco, peat, etc.
The difference being I will amend with seed meal, humus, Earthworm Castings, fish meal, etc. to feed bacteria and fungal colonies. We may be comparing apples to oranges.
How ever you do it keep growing, and kill it.
