i have 2 bags of happy frog dry amendments 1 bag of all purpose and 1 bag of there fruit and flower that i had for 2 or 3 years , it has a exp date of 2022 on them but i was wondering if they still might be good to use ?
i looked it up on the fox farm website and they said the exp date was just for the mycorrhiza that is in the mix and that the fertilizer would still be good
does anyone know if that is correct

Yes, that’s right. Bat guano, even centuries old, still retains nitrogen and phosphates. It’s still mined and used. Phosphate rock last essentially forever. Same with potassium and micronutrients. Vitamins can break down, so if present, they could be affected. Heck I’d be a bit surprised if the mycorrhizae is really destroyed. Fungal spores can last one heck of a long time.
