Organic Flushing Thoughts??

organic nute I thought don't have salts that is why I started using them no burn

Mag, calcium, potassium, iron. All salts in organic form. The larger molecules build up and clog the roots and overload the citation exchange (CEC) of the soil.

This also depends on the alkalinity of the water.

Hard water causes calcium build up over time for instance.

Michiganmedgrower ha
im super lost bottle says no salt will never burn

That's marketing. You can burn plants with any fertilizer. Even organic pellet fertilizer instructs to not get near the stem when top dressing.

Fertilizer is corrosive by nature.

The only way to be sure is to know the relationship between your source water, nutes and the potting mix.

I learned much of this the first time on the pro mix education section on their website. (pthorticulture)

Even the type of nitrogen in the nutes makes a big difference. I need my ph to generally be brought down as I use well water with plenty of calcium with soil and nutes with calcium also. So I like an amoniacal nitrogen source. Which tends to acidify. Nitrate nitrogen raises ph. It causes me problems in my garden. Micronutrient deficiencies because the ph rises and the elements are not soluble at higher ph.

But now I have probably just confused this even more.

The point I think was with some runoff when water/feeding helps even all this out and sort of re-sets the medium.

waters alkalinity aka ph?

Ph and alkalinity are not the same thing.

I have well water that is relatively soft for well. .3 ec. It's perfect for gardening. But it has an 8.0 ph out of the tap.

It is not very hard only 150 ppm of calcium/mag so when it hits the buffered (lime/oyster shell) it immediately takes on the soils ph.

I burned plants until I stopped adjusting with ph down. Which is just acid and over time acidified my soil.

earth juice take line is feed as much as u want and it wont burn I emaild them they said I could pour the hole bottle in one feeding and would not burn

i picked earth juice bc i was using fox farm and was having a salt build up prom with cloth smart pots so this website pushed me to a non salt nute

i use ground water as well i have to fill 50g drum with water let set 24hours to leach colr out so strong smell its like a pool then put in earth juice bubble for about 2 hours then i ph up to 7 from 4.4 then water get about 1/4 of the tray full of run off

Do you know what is in your water? No one can tell you how the nutes will react without that information.

I use filtered water from a water store goes through six stages of filtration its 1.50 for 5 gallons the ph is 7 I just lower it a lil and I'm good to go I also use fox farm ocean forest soil and I never have any issues and my nutes are all organic exception some bloom boosters just some info on what I do :) mimesgrower not to barge in on what uv been saying lol

thought id toss this out there to this is only after about 21-30 days in flower

Ha damnit I'm thinking it is a nutrient lock out like the above fellow grower has been saying as it sounds like there is a calcium issue in flower the plants use a lot of calcium and it seems like it's not getting enough add some bone meal to your flowering nutes ?? Hope you find your answers to this frustrating riddle lol nectar of the gods makes a good bone meal nute :)
And uv said this has happened a few times?? If using the same medium in each situation might be time to change it up:)
