Yea the raptor or the blockbuster work well for a square footprint. I have a blockbuster running 1 600 over that space. Id recommend starting with one light and see where you are on heat to be honest. Unless you have an ac unit you can spare if the two bulbs are too much.

I see alot of guys building out the cxb3590s and 3070s, i think the transition has been leaning toward the 3590s though. There are some great chips out nowdays and alot of good info on the Diy

Yea, sound advice. My idea is to get a few grows under my belt and not be overly complicated. I don't have any grow experience, just reading about it for a few years. I got lucky finding you because your grow is very similar to what I wanted to do. 4 mainlined plants in organic soil in a similar sized space. I'm just hoping to boost the lights up for later grows. I do have a standalone ac I can borrow if I need to but I don't want to deal with that yet if I don't have to

Well youre thinking in the right direction, to a certain extent more light does equal more buds, ive halfway considered running 4 250w hps mainlining vertical around each bulb but i think starting simple is good.

I'm sure he's told you that a cool tube or hood is the way to go

Dude I recomend jumping in small and get your feet wet. It'll be the most rewardingvshit you've ever done. I'm hooked for life. If I'm not growing it bugs the shit out of me. Having to buy a sack hurts my feelings lmao
