I took 5g of nutes @ 7.1 ph and added 2 ml of EJ Catalyst to get to 6.5ph...

2ml to drop 5g's over half a point. I think thats stronger than my GH down.

I noticed it dropping out my ph so I decided, why not?

Well, I haven't been doin this a real long time. Anybody see a problem with this? If it drifts up...add a ml or 2 is what I was thinking. I dont keep feed hanging out too long anyway...starts smellin like socks.

That's definitely the sweetspot. Using perfect organic nutes to slightly acidify your reservoir means no additional chems are needed to make adjustments. EJ Catalyst is so nice because of the fermented products and carbs. Love it.

yup, EJ makes good stuff. i don't use pH adjusters as quality nutes will adjust your pH to the 6.3ish range when mixed properly. my tap water is 9.0+, after mixing in my biocanna food the pH is always 6.2ish.

For organic pH adjust a friend has suggested brewers citric acid and hard wood ash for the other way. Both directions covered. Good luck. Peace GS
