I noticed my bill went up the last two months a good amount. Usally I just pay it , but i checked out all my bills online and realized PG&E is charging all different rates. For many months it was roughly 33cents per kwh now its 40cents per kwh. One month it was 13cents per kwh. Fuck i remember years ago my uncle was talking to my dad and he was saying that he paids 4cents per kwh up in massena NY.

Wow! That's a lot per kwh! My bill says I pay 5.5 cents per kwh. Could that be right?

fuck me can you give me directions to your area code

LOL! We could run an extension cord from my place to yours if you share the bill. :fixed:

If it makes you feel any better the rate cap that has been in effect for 20 years is coming off in 2 years and rates are supposed to climb at least 40%. So that would make the rate somewhere around 10 cents. :icon_dizzy:

my bill is broken into 2 prices. 1 for delivery and 2 for supply and they are tiered. so the first 500 kwh are .058 but the next 500 kwh is .059 for delivery and .115 for supply for the first 500 kwh and .114 for the 500kwh. sounds like about .16/kwh

god damn, jk your paying like me. do you guys use pg&e in socal? I mean I like the fact PG&E is a private company and dont share your bills but we are paying 8times what some are paying.

Shit man, you guys are getting bent over! Maybe your bills are tiered, too? Like seriously penalized if you go over a certain amount of kw/hours? I get billed at a different rate after 1000kw/hours. We have an energy charge and a fuel charge. Both total about 11.2 cents a kw/h for the first 1000 kw/h, and around 13.2 cents for anything over that. With all the taxes and shit, it comes out to about 14 cents a kw/h. Be nice to have Canadian rates but hell, i'm totally fine at where i'm at, considering what you guys are paying!

Yea i just looked at the website and its basically they tax you for using over baseline. and up for 35cents for 300% over baseline. and the baseling varies due to season, weather, ect.

Its prolly cheaper to buy a gas truck shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

lookn at my bill now, .066 kWh. last month was $117.44 with all the distribution, transmission, transition and generation charges, lol! I recently put all cfls all over the house, motion sensor lights for the outside lights, unplugged whatever appliances don't need constant power{washer/dryer, microwave, TV's in the guest bedroom and cut the TV off before I fall asleep and my bill dropped to $88.34 this month. I run a 1000w 12/12 with a 756cfm fan, reservoir pump, power head, oscilating fan in flower room, and a 220w T-5 on 18/6 schedule over a 49 site aerocloner. I cool with the bill amount. Peace.
