What kind of advice are you looking for? Like how to get a perpetual harvest going, with timing of planting seeds or taking clones etc so when you harvest you move more plants right in? I love perpetual harvest and its how I do it, though I am just getting started again after a number of years. I use 3 tents, but I just like having a cute lil tent just for clones/seedlings, I could easily just use 2 tents, you don't need 3 I just like having it.

Yes, general thoughts and advice on how others do it really. Be 2 tents and obviously staggered. Just interested in other fellow growers ways of working, their timings etc. You obviously have some good experience in this area so I'm all ears. 🙂

Thanks man. I need to re-arrange the garage first but just exploring the idea at the moment really.

And trying to work out how to tell the wife why the older tent hasn't/isn't getting sold now.

I've got as far as just trying to style it out so far... 😬😄

Ooof the perpetual harvest is real cool. But it’s a ton of work, every weekend you have to be doing something for the plants, clone, transplant, harvest, trim, etc etc the list goes on. But as I said really cool and fun to be turning over harvests once or twice a month on different strains. Timing is everything to set that up.
Grow your plant to maturity then force veg for 20-30 days, clone, flip to bloom, grow out clones / new seeds, harvest plants, clone s1, flip to bloom etc etc.

Thanks for that. I'm just mulling it all over at the moment but those are good pointers.

First thigs first, I need to at least re-arrange the garage setup then I'll go from there.

2 tents is all you really need for perpetual harvest, especially if you plan to grow from seed. Though it does help to have somewhere else to dry your bud instead of hanging it in your tent as they will be in use. My rough-estimate on when to time them is I like give my seedlings up to 50 days if I am running multiple plants, so if my plants will flower for 9-10 weeks like mine are right now I will germinate new seeds at the start of week 3.

Wait to see what other people here say though, because I am only just getting started again. Its been years since I have grown, and maybe the wizards and witches here have better advice than mine 😛 .

That’s basically my regimen you just explained lol

It’s worth it to pull at least a plant or 2 per month, I love a full tent but it’s easier on the hands lol, it’s hell pulling a full grow down knowing it’s just you left to trim it all lol, perpetual is awesome, I’m on a 30 day plan, about every 30 days I put another one into the flower tent, I always have clones or mothers ready, sometimes if Im short on time I’ll clone the mother and as soon as I see roots the mother goes into flower, (just had that happen with 1 out of 2 plants that hermed 20 days into flower, so I pulled my cali blues mother, cloned her and on day 30 threw the mother in the flower tent, but yep you’re always busy working on something, I just keep a notebook, I have stuff going all over so in hours I’ll forget what plant got what when, notes are key

Defenitly need multiple tents or spaces to make it work but its worth it

In the mini lab? 46” from the floor, not much space but I bet I could scrog the hell outta it if I wanted to

Plus that’s just 10’x10’ the whole crawlspace is 50’ x 40’ roughly lol that’s just the back corner

Oh and also spent the day tidying up my grow area/garage. Had loads of cardboard boxes full of various growing crap, some needed, some not. So chucked lots out and bought some drawers and crates from Target to put it all in next to the tent. Most pleasing.

Now to clean the tent down tomorrow morning and get that a/c out (that might be next week).

Think the Blue-C is finally beginning to move. Can now see the seed poking up a little but no actually shoot yet but she's on her way. I'm wondering if she got turned over.

Others were getting a little leggy (imo) so I turned the lights up more and think we've got the sweet spot now. 🤞

Blue-C Birdie definitely here now, I think I may have just planted her a little deep so took a while to dig herself out.
