I should be able to grow big healthy monsters now , seeing as I was growing them with poisonous water and I didn't kill them all.

Nov 23 update, Not a great week in the grow room. 1st I found out I've been contaminating all my plants with some toxic shit I found inside my water container. Next day I find and killed a hermied Bubba Kush,

KC39 #1 & #2 are 5 weeks old and because of the hermie BK I have room for more in the flower room so I turned #1 & #2 yesterday onto the new 11/13 cycle. I'll keep #3 &#4 in veg another couple weeks.

Cherry Bomb still has low soil ph runoff, today it was at 5.35 again so I added another 1/2 tsp of dolomite lime to see if will help lift the ph some. Otherwise it seems okay, some bad leaves still but I'm assuming this is because of the contaminated water its drank all its life, now I've fixed that I'm hoping she improves. She's starting to smell real nice and sweet, I've missed that over the past few months without flowering plants.

Bubba is no more that's the end of my run with the Bubba Kush plants. She was a good strain but it fked me with a hermie again for the last time.

Update Nov 30 Everything is going good this week, no fkups yet. Lights on 11/13 in flower room Cherry Bomb is starting to over take the space with her fragrance. Up until this week there was just the regular light odor of growing pot but this week there was that sweetness in the air.

Cherry Bomb still has a low soil ph 5.65 I added another 1/2 tbs of dolomite to the top. There are still leaves effected by the toxic water issue that I'm clipping off as they go yellow. Each day there's improvement in leaf colour to all the plants in the room.
KC39's. they're both looking good and are both filling in and starting to show frost.

Bubba dried and smoked lol Its surprising that there's a buzz off 3 week old dried bud. It's a shame I had to kill her early, I liked Bubba.I have a light whirlwind blowing around the room 24/7 I wonder if she popped a few and spread a bit of polen around the room. It wouldn't disappoint me to have a few seeds from this batch.

2 Cherry bomb clones have been in flower 8 days, starting to stretch out and may catch up to momma in hieght after they're done.
The last 2 CB clones are still vegging and I don't want to turn them until I have 1 good clone growing off 1 of them. They're getting 24 hr light, 11 in flower room and 13 in veg room. They seem like happy girls.

Understanding and managing the soil ph is the biggest learn so far on this grow. In the past I managed input water ph taking little regard of the soils ph. I grew for years without concerning myself with ph up or down and just used my well water & nute's to fertilize. My normal house water is about 7.1 when I add nute's it goes down to 6.5 - 6.2. alls good. Then I learned a little bit about ph & that the waters & ph should be brought down to 6.5 so I bought a ph tester. I'd add ph down. to bring the ph down to 6.5.After months of doing that my soil runoff ph got down to 5.3. I should never have adjusted the input water to begin with. It looks like learning a little is worse than learning nothing at all. Now I ordered a PPM meter, I wonder what I can fkup with that new tool.

I'm in the Christmas 16 oz Solo Cup Challenge with a Chemdog seed. its up and growing now let see what this adventure will bring.

Dec 6 update there was a lot of leaves turning yellow so I trimmed them off the Cherry Bomb and both KC39's.

Cherry Bomb smells great and the buds are thickening up pretty good for week 6 of flower. I got a new ppm meter and after yesterdays feeding it showed me house water 120ppm and after adding nute's 900 ppm in and 1200ppm out. This apparently means its a bit heavy with nute's in the soil and I should water water feed til shes done in 2-3 weeks.

Both KC39's had a lot of yellowing leaves this week but they're both stacking up well and look healthy otherwise.

Two Cherry Bomb clones in flower are showing buds now after 2 weeks on 11/13 and I keep tightening the ties by moving the hooks up the stocks to spread them out and flatten the canopy.

The remaining 2 CB clones are now 8 weeks old and I'm turning them tonight onto 11/13.

The SoloCup Challenge entry Chemdog is growing as expected, no nute's or watering needed yet at 1 week old, still under the dome at 75f with lights on 24hrs

The rest of the the chemdawgs are up and growing 1st week under the dome still.

Thanks, I've had some issues with them but they're coming along. This site has helped me immensely, learning all the time from all of you here. I believe future grows will get easier with a group like this to draw on when problems inevitably arise. It's good just to be able to talk it out with other growers who've had much more growing experience than myself in growing this medication.

Dec 14 Update Week 7 for the Cherry Bomb, the leaves are more yellow / pale green than I'd like to see but the smell and frosting have improved this week. I've had to pilfer some buds this week and every couple of days until they're done in a week - 10 days hopefully. I hate having to do that but I'm out and desperate times and all.

Both KC39's are frosting & thickening up daily, another couple of weeks and they're done as well. Harvest date is the 25th but we'll have a house full of non smokers eating turkey here so I won't be cutting them then.

Cherry Bomb clones 1 & 2 are at week 3 and progressing nicely. CBc 3 & 4 are at week 1

Solo cup and the other Chemdog plants are having a problem with the leaves curling and looking pale. I gave a small dose of nutes to the Solo cup and fertilized the soil prior to transplanting them into larger pots 1ml/1ml/1ml per gallon.

Dec 22 update. Cherry Bomb has been losing a few buds do to my bad timing with crop turning. It's allowed some of the buds underneath to develop to more. It looks like another week or more for her with just a few cloudy no amber yet.

KC39 #1 is not ready yet but KC39# 2 is I'll be cutting her today. Finely I'll have some real weed near New Years, this flash dried stuff works in the am but gives me a head ache in the evening if I continue to smoke the crap.

CB clones # 1 & 2 are at 4 weeks and #'s 3 & 4 at 2 weeks.

I thought I was out of the solo cup challenge, I fried it dry and too close to the heat. It was dead but I added some water and a tiny splash of nute's and it popped back up with a few crispy leaves but as of this morning its small but still growing. The other seeds I started at the sane time are much larger plants with one I was able to split already.

I Chemdog plant is a freak the main stem was only a single leaf with 4 primary leaves rather than 2 and it now has a stem growing out of the side of the stock. The leaf got crispy with some of the others being too dry and too hot during a 1 night fk up. Now that I've got the heat and humidity fixed in veg room everything is looking much better.

What I’m reading is that you seem a little unhappy with your grow, but then I’m seeing pictures with super-cropped/topped plants with tons of budsites filling-the-fuck-out, so I dunno what to make of it haha! I will say, though, that those first couple pics inspired me to top the shit out of my current grow. Usually I just top once and flower, but I am definitely topping and training all of my plants at least twice before I flip this round....

No I'm not unhappy with this grow but thing could have gone better. The Big plant (Cherry Bomb) had some issues with tainted water and low ph I'm surprised its made it though. It's close to 6 months old, I didn't have anything else ready to be turned with her so I kept her vegging until 3 others were ready to turn with her.

Dec 30 update. Harvest time for Cherry Bomb #3. It's a shame I had to take so many test samples but she still came out pretty good. Mostly cloudy just a few amber from what my shakey old eyes can see, & 9 weeks in flower yesterday. Ungirdled and trimmed to hang she looks pretty good before I cut her neck. It makes me feel odd after such a long relationship, nursing it from a seed , babying it for 6 months only to give a violent death with an X-acto blade lol

That's the same plant you helped me with the low soil ph in Nov and the split stock back in Sept I might have been able to let her go another 5,6,7 days but I need the space and she was taking up too much of it.

Without all the help I received here she'd of been a shriveled replica of herself so thanks to all of you that helped me with her problems. This has been a great place to share grow problems. Managing the soil conditions, nutrients, light schedules, the shaping of the plants and her stalks all learned from here. I'f what I know now I new before she was a seedling she'd be twice the size, From poison'd water, cracked main stalk, 4.9 soil ph yikes if only she'd been healthy her whole life and I hadn't been testing her for a month.

Thank You all for or help!!
