I make something similar, but instead of sugar, I use some yogurt. It has sugar in it, plus some pro-b's for my crazy stomach.

Well, good thing i got called off of work today....went in the groom to admire my plants as i am wont to do.....i noticed it was a lil warm in there 80f....so i stuck my hand up to the ac duct and the air was luke warm....i stuck my head outside to see if the condensor was on and it was but there was a weird whistling sound....and the fan wasnt kickin in. Because i have a low ambient kit the fan only runs when the head pressure gets high nuff but as the unit continues to cycle the condenser fan will kick in....so i went out n checked the lines and the high pressure was super hot and the low side wasnt cold at all....so i bipassed my fan cycling switch and got her purrin like a kitten again....pretty proud of myself i must say!
