lol I'm tellin you, I just dump 450mL or whatever it is straight into the res with the pump running in there sideways. No manual mixing required typically. Once the res has been through a few batches you might find some silica sticking around but that's about it.

Ok when I get the rez running again I will try that.

After mixing it I tested ph stable at 6.0 without anything, so that might be worth any mixing hassles right there;)

Yeah, I definitely would've made something or found a spot somewhere else that's closed off. That looks like a pain in the ass for sure!

I have to make sure I can close it off in case I have company. I'll have to think of something... Since they put this chemo therapy picc line in my arm, I have to really watch how I bend over and stuff so it doesn't pull on it

I was just bustin' your balls buddy, I have had some time running them but, those guys would definitely know more about them than me, @Toaster79 especially. To be fair though, I'm just not familiar with how knowledgeable six is about them, he may be the better choice to talk to for all I know. Haha
@Migrows Honestly, if I was going to buy something, I'd be reading about it, then looking to reviews, and from there just going by my gut and my wallet. Although, I had really good luck using the Lighthouse Hydro Chrome Series light I had, pretty good luck with Lighthouse Hydro stuff in general back in the day when I was running them.
If I was still capable, like I once was, and had the money to do so, I'd more than likely do something like what Toast has and build my own using cob led's. You can have a framework that fits the tent, (or whatever), and space the fixtures to your liking. To me, that's really the way to go if you want to run led's.
