Nothing better IMO than a dad taking his kids fishing..
It creates a bond that is way more than just going out and catching fish..
Makes me remember the time my dad and I were fishing a creek. I fell into a hole covered with grass.
He reached down with one hand and lifted me up, come on Horse lets go..
The rainbows spawn in the spring, the Browns in the fall so that fish was gorging have seen many fat one but that one was gorged ..
All set for tomorrows hike up. Hopefully will be on river at or just before sunrise, seems hot till noon or so and the moon is almost full so it will be interesting to se what's up.
Fish actually feed at night under the full moon so they may not be hungry. Maybe not so much when water temps are low.
Man the fish you all get out there are the best eating IMO.
Cold water trout are good and I bet the colder water ice fishing makes better eating than summer.
Blue gill, perch, bass, walleye, crappie, all are excellent eating seem to flourish and there are plenty yo kill and grill.
Just cant kill em on the river..

I saw a guy at the hardware store yesterday whos pants were every bit of 6" too short haha i mean this dude was flooding something terrible. Funny thing is the guy was unusually short so im sitting in the parking lot thinkin...how hard is it for a lil dude to find big enuff pants? Haha

Bicky I never used them have a friend that dose. He says they're a pain in the ass. He gets all the old roots that he can out of them washes them in bleach solution rins real good and use.
I like six's way it gives you all the urea you need.
