My flower room is 10x12. I have a 4x4 tent for veg/clones. I’m flowering some moms in there right now but I’m running 18 this time. It’s not really a sog I’ll veg them out a couple weeks to fill up the room. Last time was like 20 and didn’t fill it all up.
I will be doing probably 25-30 with less veg time once I get moms of all the new strains

Im in the process of setting up my first dtw right now. You run tea day.... do you just not have anything scheduled for Sundays and hand feed the holy concoction?

What do you think would fill an 8x4 area joey? Same style.

I hand feed mine. They really do go crazy for that tea.

On tea say I hand feed. I unplug my dtw. Then I clean out the catch Rez because that tea will grow some funky stuff if left. The I set the dtw to start back up about 4 hours later when they start to dry out. If I’m home and can manually let them sit longer with the tea I will. I also refill the Rez with new feed which should last til next week.

@Thejoeybrown How many plant's do you run in flower? How much runoff do you get a day?
You talk about feed and runoff ppm staying close. My runoff is always off the charts lol. I stopped paying attention a long time ago. I run 6 plants and shoot for 1 gal a day in runoff. Feeding 6-7 gallons a day. I'm Going to try feeding more and see if I notice any difference. I need to look to see if I get runoff on first feed. I don't think I do.
Always looking to tweak and tune.:ninja:

I do anywhere from 6-20. I feed to runoff every time. A decent amount. I’ve found that that first feeding after lights out needs to have decent runoff otherwise that’s when I get the buildup. I believe that’s why I can run 2.1-2.2 every in flower and usually very little tip burn. Buuut if I’m not getting runoff until the 2nd or third watering I get some buildup.
On tea day I get probably 100% runoff. I guess it helps a little.
Since my lights go on at 6pm I will go in there at 6 and let that first one go a lil extra. Then set my timer to 10 sec every hour. If I’m gonna be gone a couple days I set it to 20 sec every hour and just live with a little extra waste.
That first one seems most important to me. Then after that 10 sec an hour gets me runoff. Since I’ve been doing that I haven’t had build up without user error. Lol

I was guessing 16. I really want to plan this next run out. Set up that feed system, take clones at the right time, veg way less lol. I have alot of work to do. Appreciate the advice always brolo.

That’s the only thing I like about the small pots. Uses less feed. I like Toni my change my Rez onc a week.ast run in flower I was doing twice a week. That’s why I went and got this 55 gal

You got it bro. Once you get settled in you’re new work hours you’ll get her done and see how easy it was hahaha. Any number works tho. The manifold I use you can shut off any port you aren’t usin. So can use any number.

Tomorrow I will actually run the lines and spread them out closer to where they’ll sit when I put the 2 gavitas over them.
I got lazy today. They’re vegging under a 1k me so I don’t want to spread them too far out yet.
I’ll start feeding them 2 times a day with the drip and gradually raise that so by flower it will be close to 6. I’m tryi to get them to grow as fast as possible but with only 18 plants in about a 6x10 of actual plant space I gotta veg a little. Lol.

Wow. Yah I'm not that dedicated to be in their lights on every day lol. I set it and forget it, till the runoff is +or- 1gal. Lights on t@12:am. I will try and see tonight. I got a plan.
