So, I'm going to be starting a grow of some Tahoe OG from cali connect. I'm going to be growing indoors with a hydroponic system. I'm not 100% sure on size constraints but it will be relatively small, 12 plants max but probably going to be around 6. So the question I have is what is the best starter hydroponic system so that I don't mess up this beautiful plant from seed as I want to grow clones of the best phenoes for a longggggggg time, Michigan needs SOME elite genetics so can someone help me please.
lol , awesomeWow, I didn't know there was going to be like three posts in a minute at 5:12 in the morning.
Oh wait, I don't live in Cali =[.
I'm putting about 900 into the project, my caregiver who I'm growing with is going to be matching whatever I put in. So about 2 grand to play with, don't necessarily want to spend it all if we don't have to. I have no idea what lights or ventilation. I guess I should be reading into that too. Sorry, I do most of my research into the plant itself so a lot of this is new to me, the plants are prettier to look at than buckets lol.
Hey strictlyHYDROid, I found a nice aero system. It's called the rainforest 66 or something? 6 plant sites, 6" diameter pots. Mind googling it real quick and telling me what you think?
word. I built my 6 site aero system w/5" net pots for approx. $50. I built an aero cloner for approx. $25. do it yourself and save a bunch of dough! check HF for cheap parts, like pumps & timers. clickyhere!
Does your grow system have any ventilation? I'm thinking I'm just going to get one 600w hps light. I've been doing some reading and it really sounds like aero is the way I want to go. Can you give me more details on what you did?
Ebb and flow for both vegging and flowering. Look scary at first but are actually simple and reliable. Fluorescence for vegging and hps's for flowering.
Then like the other guys said, With that budget look into ventilation.
Ebb and flow was the first thing I was looking at but I have my mind pretty set on aero. Thanks for the input though!!!
