I've been vegging these babies for about 3 weeks, slow growth due to cold temps, got it under control now, but am seeing some problems with the leaves. I am using General Hydroponics 3 part nutrients with diamond nector and roots organics. Any input would be great.

I will try and get some pictures with the lights off tonight.

You may need to think like an archaeologist in that whatever caused this damage may well have been an insult delivered weeks ago.
I have a similar problem at present and seamaiden advised a epsom salt (1/4 tsp per gallon) foliar spray.
I have been misting twice per day for the last few days and progression seems to have been arrested.

K, couple of things, but first I've gotta say that looks seriously weird. At first I was thinking straight up light burn, but then I noticed--it's only occurring on fully formed & developed leaves. It's got a regularity to it that way. And then I see that twisting, suggesting perhaps pH. Slight reddening of petioles, but not bad, really.

I'm at a loss, I've never seen anything quite like that. Let me attach mah flow chart.

Well I think I might have figured it out. The return of thrips? I don't see any but there was one little ball looking thing clinging to the stem. I only seen the one but its enough for me to spray em. I am going to use Conserve Naturalyte containing spinosad. I am mixing some of this cal-mag I have in at 5ml/per gal. The bug juice says to mix at 60ml per gal of water. I am using r/o water. Any thoughts before I spray tonight?

Alright here are some more pictures, I trimmed most of the infected/damaged leafs off. Took a few cuttings, Sprayed and now am going to leave them in the dark for a few hours. They have been on 24hr a day. When the lights come back on I'm turning the timers to 12/12. Should I fire up all 4 600's?

Thanks for the help Seamaiden, I figure it can't hurt to try right?

O.k. So we've just changed out the res, and added 6ml GH Micro, 2.5ml GH Grow, 10ml GH Bloom, 5ml Pro Silicate, 15ml GH Diamond Nectar. Ph read 6.4 after all nutes mixed, adjusted it down to 6.0 will moniter over the next couple hours to make sure it doesn't swing too much. I've never used the Silicate before, last grow stems weren't strong enough. I think using the silicate will strengthen things up. Anyone use this stuff before?

They start their first day of 12/12 tonight.

WHAT IS THE RH?

you have a lot of vert bulbs and I am sure AC too. If your RH isn't above 50 then I would say its too low. You want 60-65. That can cause droopy leaves and splotchiness.

The plants will not be taking in shit if the stomata are closed due to the RH being too low. Foliar feeding itself could cause those spots.

last night was the first time they ever got Foliar fed/bug treatment. And the rh is 40. Might have to invest in humidifier.

Unfortunately, yes, it might hurt. Or make problems worse. Just be sure to note the reaction.

I agree with Capulator, that RH is too low. A cool mist humidifier shouldn't cost you more than $20-$30.

I have an 8inch fan venting the hot air out of the grow space and a 6inch supplying fresh air. Will the humidifier just be sending the moisture straight out of the room? the air that cools the room is only 10% RH at best.

Holy crap! How do YOU live in such low RH?? My skin is crackling just thinking about it.

I use only passive intake, what if you just kept the venting fan on, save some energy that way? Yes, if it's exchanging the air then it's going to send all that water right out. Perhaps a better method would be to use the old school tray-ful of pebbles or gravel, then filled with water just to underneath the tops of the rocks (did I explain that well?). (It's what we did when I was a kid with houseplants that were getting too dried out.)
