Might as well start a diary and post all this stuff in one place. Chemdawg x Brutus OG - F2 Currently the only strain I'm working. Wants: Northern Lights and Chemdawg. Maybe for Christmas. Growing outside in the clay soil amended with composted chicken...

This was a quick grow/flip for the Christmas Tree solo cup from seeds given to me by a friend. Seed popped Sept 22 and flipped Halloween. Harvested Christmas day. About a quarter oz once dry and I gave it away a few days ago not realizing what it was (thought it was a branch of Mother's Milk i dried a couple weeks ago) so didn't even get to taste it
I plan on planting more this spring along with some Ginger Snap he also gave me. Hoping for a mom of each

This was taken off one of the larger plants, a brown dying leaf off the bottom and is very common especially this time of year. I haven't sprayed in about 10 days so they all got neem Saturday night.

Flipped the 3 Cherry Wine hemp
Was keeping as moms but no longer need but I did need the room in the greenhouse and have 3 younger smaller cuts
that just became my new moms..

Waiting for these 2 to show roots
Chop that Broccoli
Green onion
Got Lettuce going finally
Kratky setup. Bottles are almost full of a weak nutrient solution that is set about a quarter of an inch above the bottom of the red cups keeping the coco coir wet. Roots will grow into the bottle using the solution as well as evaporation will lower the level of the solution. I usually change it out every 2-3 weeks or after a rain. Once established the plants will produce both water and air roots and if filled over those air roots the plant will drown.
Planted 8 pots of Ruby Red Lettuce seeds yesterday
Very flavorful and great mix. I've got one going in a 2ltr bottle above.

Mother's Milk cut from #1 of 3
Bent and broke a branch
and just wired it back up. Works like a charm. I've broken hundreds of branches through the years, everytime I take a 7-8 footer out of the greenhouse several of their branches get broken. Unless they come off I leave them, even those laying on the ground. Of there's a connection the stem will grow.
I took 2 cuts from her
2 weeks plus ago. No roots visible yet but they've been snug in their rockwool so I believe they are rooted. I hope
Planted 30 Gelato seeds
7 days ago? 1 popped so far
I'll move it into a cup tomorrow. Maybe this will get me to keep a majority of my seeds in the fridge or freeze? Never know
3 new (newer?) Hemp moms
Half gallon nursery pots and doing very well. I've had this strain going clone only for 4 or 5 years now. There's pics somewhere here on the farm of those Soda size colas that revegged in late spring/early summer and I cloned 'em and I just keep cloning 'em. Their moms
3 in fiber 1 gal pots coconut coir.
Was going to keep them as moms throughout the winter and flip in spring but I had the 3 new ones and needed the space.
Outdoors and greenhouse this time of year in sunny so cal we get aphids
Which produce sone yellow leaves
These were sprayed with neem a couple days ago, the entire plant from above and below
Laid them down and sprayes the shit outta 'em. It's rained since and washed most of the neem off but these bugs were coated and are dead. Leaf is done, drying and dying. Nothing can be done for it, but these plants are hemp, 18% CBD so these, when finished in 2 months will be oil extracted to make sauve.
I've still got my Christmas solo cup Cherry Wine hemp plant jarred. Smells like, um, cherry wine

I gave away the Gelato I was going to mix it withawesome the cherry wine tasted good plumberthats a unusual terp ive never tasted before in cannabis. you could mix it with the bb hash plant to smoke. that would be nice. cherry and rhubarb is a good mix, is something else on the pallet. if you can find a rhubarb terp to.

Both of those up front stuck their tap root up and I pulled them out and turned them over. That's a first for me. I did the one on the left yesterday and it's looking good. Did the right one this morning. There's one in the back on the left that came up the right way

Even here. Cherry Wine hemp. They're getting sprayed with neem couple times a week and still being attacked by aphids. I'm guessing 2 weeks since flip? 8 to go and I'm doubting if I'll harvest anything. Oh well.
